So, APAT events have been won both online and live this year and this week at the GUKPT Luton Main Event 3 plucky APATers play courtesy of Betfair Poker as a result of winning in APAT's season 4.
Bernard Littman, Professional league winner at the Vic plays Day 1a on Thursday. Bernard actually won GUKPT Brighton 18 months ago, so is a distance winner over the course structure.
JP Round, Ace on the River and Steve Bayliff, Scouse 3465, Online Event winners play Day1b on Friday
Good luck to them all
You"ll be able to follow their progress via a variety of sources. the GUKPT blog. Nuts TV/AWOP. Blonde Poker, just to name a few.
I"ll try and keep this thread updated too
We have loads of APATers being entered into GUKPTs Brighton and Blackpool too from September onwards
Someone, somewhere is going to scoop big for themselves and by extension all of the APAT Community. I can feel it.
Lets go!

K J on J high flop, villain flopped a set of 5s
-
Bernard Littman was knocked out by Karl Mahrenholz A-J v 3-3 on a 3-10-A flop, and Karl played it cute
Brian Yates went deep, but then flopped top pair, K kicker, shoved and got the guy to call with 5-5. 5 on the turn
That guy ended the day on 165,000
Good luck to JP and Steve today.
-
Not sure about JP, however Scouse lost a big pot 99 v K-9 and villain hit his K
So Steve goes through with approx 26k.
Best wishes Steve and all else still in play from Apat.
Away from home VUL Dan Owston, showing great form again and sooooooo ul not to take a massive stack through in Tallin.
Great show boys, keep up the good work :)
-
going back with 33 575, the pot paul was saying about was 99 v kk on k 9 rag board , pretty sick as he only called my raise in blinds then obvious all went in set over set .
cheers for all texts yesterday and hopefully can smash it today .
-

I busted around the middle of level 8 having nursed a short stack for quite a while. Great experience but some really tough opponents and I didn"t get many opportunities. My personal highlight was shoving over the top of Roberto Romanello and getting him to tank fold.
Very very best of luck to Steve today, you must be playing well to have that stack following such a cooler. I saw you a couple of times yesterday Steve but didn"t hear you. Is this a new Steve? ;D
Seriously GL mate
-
Ty ty , dont know about the new steve but grinding the day out , just hope i on right end of set over set today please lol . You Should have said hello , sorry i didnt myself . Aint been all in yet and hopefully wont be but sure i will soon ! Bad luck yourself although always good to get better of a pro though .

Steve Gone :(
Got short and shoved with 5,6 looked up by A,Q
UL Steve
-
what a dick i am ,
lost all but 8k of my chips (where i shoved with 56 spades) by looking down at ace rag looked up to see a hyper aggresive lad who been all in 4 times in last 1 and half rounds was on big blind so thought raise get him shove prob any 2 and call for stack build. he then shoved so i called , he showed queens and neil channing said thought you big from limp after all the shoves , the blinds hidden from me cos a side of dealer . No excuse now please all give me **** !! i so mad with myself after playing so well for 11 hours previous day and making such a donkey mistake !
And of course no ace and when i shoved with 56 first card in the door ace to leave me ****ed versus aq!
On the brighter side i can now play tonight and hopefully get top spot back off tony tripps ;)
-
Well played John
Who"s John?
