Title: League 2 Matchday 6 - 31/10/10

Matchday 6 - The Home stretch.

The run in is underway.  We have put ourselves in a great position going into the 2nd half of the league, a point clear of promotion and sitting pretty at the top of the league.

I believe we are back to fortnightly matchdays after a few weeks off, so games in a flurry from here on in.

Great to put some faces to names over the weekend, and very much hope it wasn"t a one off.

so as ever, numbers matter so I hope we continue to get the numbers we have, and that we make it count once again.

Be superb to score again, and open a little bit of light between 1st and 4th.

Remember if when we win the league the top 4 in the club gain entry into an APAT Pro event....on top of our own club competition that is running.

Unfortunately I have to go out on Sunday, however, I will book in today and hope I will get back before all my blinds have gone. If any Luton players are on my table please pinch my blinds and don"t let them go to the opposition!

I need a miracle.  not sure how it gets all in pre in level 2 with  qh qs vs  ac ks but it did, and I lost.  down to 190

bit of a dodgy start losing 4 before the break, but still got 16 so looking good in that way.

I just got very lucky with a river straight in the last hand b4 the break.

16 left.

Susiepea leading the way for Luton in 2nd place with 8885 chips.

no luck tonight, should have called massive bluff when i had 10 10 against a lower flop shown but bottled it.  Never mind obvioulsy 10"s are not a lucky hand for me as knocked out early against AQ.  very strange play tonight some big hand"s getting knocked for 6.  thats betfair poker i suppose.  gl to all luton"s still in the competition.

Yeah bust QQ earlier with 10/3...  then shove his whole stack with 2 pair on turn when there was a flush and str8 made.. rivered a full house.. raised UTG with2/7 and flopped flush  v AQ... Q high flop.. think i will wait till i have the nuts v him lol

Didnt realise we had people watching at that time of the morning. very strange game with 3 left - it seemed to go on for ever with, Im sure, each of us going from 20k to 80k and back to 20k at least twice. we were 3 handed for 35 mins and HU for 3 !  I was sure the klup was going to win but his agression was his downfall (something about living and dieing by the sword).

Finally finished about 2am

Only 2nd mtt ive won but its the points that are important. ;D

key hand for me was when i went all in with AQ vs AK vs KK and managed to flop 2 pair and win the hand.

Only played after winning enough money to enter after winning a $3 sng.

Yep well done lads, sorry for my poor showing, trouble with the internet being on for 3 mins and then off for 5 mins, only just got it sorted now!! When I did come back on, I had AK hearts shoved all in (just in case i got disconnected) and met KK, with K on flop I was fetching my coat..............

Finally finished about 2am

Only 2nd mtt ive won but its the points that are important. ;D

key hand for me was when i went all in with AQ vs AK vs KK and managed to flop 2 pair and win the hand.

Only played after winning enough money to enter after winning a $3 sng.

SNG FTW then Dazza!!  You played excellent and it did go on (in a nice way) for ages when at the final 3, always seems longer at 01.45am though!!

Big thanks to the morning railers for sure, I"m sure we had others but noticed Nellie in the chat too.  It is what the club should be about, and we all contribute to that and it"ll make winning the league  ;D ;D... that little bit more special.

Brilliant work folks. After my Luton game at G Casino to see what live play was like I went to the DTD Grand Prix and by the time I came to the League I was quite pokered out after 9 and half hours. I did what I could but you were amazing. Well played.
