In the absence of your captain ;) I"ll post congratulations to you all on winning the Division 1 Title.
The top 4 players all win GUKPT Main Event seats.
Andy Overton
James Edwards
Tony Trippier
Andrew Barton
Please contact Tighty to book the event you wish to play.
Really unlucky to both Deb Duncan and Marcel Furet, who were both in the top 4 going into the last event. I"m sure that the four of you will look after them should you cash in the GUKPT. ;)

Congrats from the Solent team. Well done.

Congrats WALSALL. Was a great final game. Bring on the GUKPT...

Congratz guys.

Congratulations!
Looking forward, hopefully, to joining the scrap next season.

Well done guys. Hope to challenge you a bit more next season. To be fair Birmingham were only a couple of points behind you in the end...
-
Well done Walsall. Looking forward to locking horns next season.

Well played to all in the Walsall team. Great result and took it down in style winning the last game to put us well clear at the top.
Despite talk of "in-fighting breaking out on the forum and disappointment, dejection and depression" we all knew better and ignoring the jibes did what we do best, play poker.
Lots of talk pre-game about how we would be playing tight and how Solent were going to put us to the test and stick it to us whenever they could but in the end they tried to fold their way to the points, getting down to 2 or 3 blinds (or less than one in one guys case!) and then hoping for a lucky double up (which they got plenty of) whereas our guys were pushing for the final table. Despite having half the players quality won out over quantity in the end. This also shows in the final players table with 7 Walsall players in the overall top 20 and just 2 Solent.
Unlucky Debs and Marcel but congratulations to Tony and Barty on getting the last two seats, and to James for just pipping me to the top of the individual table (and to think, not so long ago you hit your 2-outer to knock me out of my first live APAT, now we're in 2 teams together!). Proud to play alongside you guys, and to see fellow BCPC players taking up most of the top spots.
Oh, and regarding our Captain Leigh, we asked him not to play as he keeps letting the side down. ;)
Actually, he was taking down 6th at Dusk Til Dawn, bringing home the bacon for his fellow BCPC teammates, so we'll let him off. this time. :)
Roll on next season!
