Ok, the game is NLHE, the buy in is a huge £3, the venue, one of my local pubs, the standard is errm, not the best, lol. I play there for a laugh and a drink sometimes but this hand even flabbergasted me and i"ve seen some very strange plays in there, and i play on Stars!
The nearest guess gets a pint bought at the next APAT live event!
Ok - blinds are 50/100. 16 players still in from the start. 5k starting stacks.
Player 1 - raises to 500
Player 2 - calls 500
Player 3 - calls 500
Pot is now 1500
Flop is ts jh qd
Player 1 bets 500
Player 2 calls 500
Player 3 raises to 1000
Players 1 and 2 call
Pot is now 4500
Nothing unusual yet, 5 xbb raises are standard here, as are min-raises and calls from everyone involved!
Turn is ac
Player 1 bets 1000
Player 2 goes all in for 3500
Player 3 calls
Player 1 calls
Ok, name those hands! :)

Well, so far one of the hands has been guessed. One other is close.
Asked my wife about this last night and she actually got two of the hands pretty much spot on! But then she has played with these people so is at an advantage.
The winner of the pint will be announced at the end of today. :)

Ok. All the entries are in and the winner is ........ Swinebag. Didn"t guess any hands right but came vaguely close and nobody else got near either! Not sure if i know you but come find me at the next APAT and i"ll get your pint.
Ok, so we"ll start with Player 1 but i won"t reveal his hand until the end. He raises pre-flop to 5 x bb.
Player 2 calls with the mighty ......
kc 6d
Player 3 calls with the huge ......
8c 9h
The flop comes 10, Jack, Queen
Player 1 now c-bets 500 (although i doubt he knows what he"s doing!)
Player 2 calls with the open-ender
Player 3 thinks, ahah, i"ve flopped the nuts, i best min-raise!
Player 1 calls, as does player 2.
The turn comes an ace.
Player 1 on seeing this decides, well, i"ve called the min raise on the flop, i best bet again.
Player 2 hits the nuts so goes all-in
Player 3 calls, as does player 1
I state, wow, have you ALL got the King?
Player 3 turns to player 2 and says, "have you got the king?". Player 2 reveals they have. Player 3 looks dissapointed and actually thought she was going to win. The table turns to Player 1. What did you have John?
So, what cards could he possibly be holding that he raised with pre, bet into 2 players on the flop, called the min-raise on the flop with and finally called off all his chips with against 2 all-ins on a Ten, Jack, Queen, Ace board ...........
th 7s
I had to pretend i was having a coughing fit and headed outside, laughing like a drain!
Some of the play there has to be seen to be believed but this one even shocked the regulars!

STEWARDS ENQUIRY NEEDED HERE.
How can swinebag be the winner ?
He got 2 of the 6 cards correct.
I had 3 of them right, and others might have had more.
This competition is a complete fix.

Not sure if you know him ? Clearly, he"s your best mate, and this is a total stitch up.
If I"d known it was going to come down to an opinion to decide a winner, I wouldn"t have bothered.
This is the worst ruling since Brian Yates put together the rankings for the BCPC.
Shocking. ::)

I"m not gonna bite 8)

Wasn"t it AMRN who got one hand exactly right?
I think Pables is the closest overall, K-rag and a low pair - J rather than T.
The only solution is drinks for everyone.

My competition, my rules!
Leigh, you came second, does that help? You would have won but you had nobody with a king in their hand. I"ll buy you a half of shandy. ;)
I used the formula of have a look at the hands and pick which one i felt was the closest. The BCPC rankings are worked out based on a formula that Stephen Hawking would struggle with!

Damn you, I was just about to post this. ;D
And he"s too ashamed to comment any further because he knows he"s been found out.
I saw earlier that he was reading the thread. He"s probably sat on his own, contemplating the consequences of his actions.
It"s a sad sad day.
