None taken, thanks Brian.
For anyone who doesn"t know, Maggie & John are regular members of the Solent team. John was the second-highest scoring player on the team in the recent league (where we finished second in Div 1) and Maggie won a £250 Pro seat when we won Div 2 the previous time. Maggie has played a few live APAT events, including making the final day of the WCOAP ME. She recently captained the LPPL team to 6/25 in the APAT team event. LPPL has 30,000 signed-up members, of which about 2,000 are current active league players, so competition to get onto this team is fierce.

Hey guys, I"m Danny, Bri"s son, I"m gonna be running the tournament today, so you can rely on me to bring you updates as the day goes on. For eliminations, rather than me spamming the forums with post after post, for those who use Twitter you can just go to the link http://twitter.com/#!/search?q=%23BCPCTC (http://twitter.com/#!/search?q=%23BCPCTC) where I will be using #BCPCTC to post eliminations.
Good luck to all participants today!
Also, Dan Owston for Scouse in unable to play, he has been replaced by Steve Smart.

It"s all kicked off in the New Talbot!

Almost at the end of Level two and the only players out all play for the BCPC! Including myself (Bri). Went out from AA vs QQ, flop came down with a Q, I called all in on the turn and lost. Remember to follow all of Dan"s updates on twitter using the link http://twitter.com/#!/search?q=%23BCPCTC (http://twitter.com/#!/search?q=%23BCPCTC).

The twitter feed is going to update less now, as I"m posting far too much and getting a bit too drunk.
So I"ll update it as each table finishes.

Final Table kicks off at 1am, around 2 1/2 hours behind schedule so it could be LONG NIGHT. 2nd hand in and Andy Kingan of the "White Country Poker Club" shoves all in with 98 on a 9 high board and gets called by Craig Mcinnes on a flush draw, Craig hits on the turn to knock Andy out in 10th.
Rich Cornick calls an All In with A2 of Spades, on a two Spade flop but Dan Yale has pocket As and they hold up. Cornick out in 9th.

As a supporter at this event for team LPPL, would like to thank all the players for making us feel very welcome :)
would loved to have played in this as the banter was good and seemed a lot of good play and INTRESTING play, some from our team too i must admit
hope to get a invite for the next one and hope they still do the chiken tikka wraps
£3 = bargain ;D
-
I had 2 wraps, and a cheese burger, no wonder im a fat ******* now. Went out early in all 3 of my SnGs so there was lots of standing around doing nothing for me.

Yes, TYVM Brian and Dan, great weekend. Nice to meet some new bods and some very familiar ones. Excellent nights entertainment, and Tony(No not Tripps) behind the bar did a sterling job until 5a.m. He was still there at dinner time on Sunday. Yes, very well run night and a great atmosphere. Good turn out too, with Chezger, Nye and Aber boys, lppl?? something like that...lol just to mention a few.
Cheers Scouse, Andy, Gary and Steve/Dan. No cigar but Pineapple FTW....hehe!
Biggest thanks to Matty and Max for putting us up, and what a great Brekky. You were really Fab hosts and i hope to repay your kindness sooooooooooooooon :D :)
