Title: 888 Hand History
Post by: ian.ski309 on March 17, 2011, 11:13:30 AM
I ticked the check box to enable it and found the folder on the hard drive.

When I open a notepad file for a tournament, it is just one huge solid block of text rather than individual hands. Is this normal and if not, is there a way to make it readable ? I"d like to make it the same format as APAT's previous sponsor  ;)

I"ve just copied a chunk of "text" from a sample HH file, but then when I"ve pasted it into this message to show you what it looks like... the copy/pasted "text" is formatted exactly how it"s supposed to. Weird..!? There must be a fix...

Thanks for the suggestion Noble, these are handy tools, but what a faff if you"re scanning through dozens (or more likely scores), of hands to find the one you want.

Am I allowed to say that I preferred Betfair"s HH as they were ready "converted" and much easier to read. Better go... I can hear Paulie approaching with his axe  ;)

Thanks Brendan, that"s what I"ve been doing previously. I was hoping that there was a check box somewhere that would do the work for us.

Ian - much easier to read your HH if you use HEM or PT3....

Are they free or just a free "trial" period. You know how tight-fisted I am Steve...  ;)

Dunno about HEM, but you can download PT3 for free and use for it 1000 hands on a trial license. Full license costs $99, and is more than worth it!  Failing that, you can usually find offers for it for free when linked to some sites.

HEM also has a small-stakes cheapo version which lets you scan in anything up to NL100 I think.

Just open the hand history in a more proper wordprocessor than Notepad... ie. Wordpad, MS Word, OpenOffice.

It will be then be formatted like you want.
