Title: Where is Kinboshi?
Post by: Foggy on March 23, 2011, 11:57:37 AM
What has happened to that prolific forun ember Kinboshi?

That lightening fast responder to all topics, the total fish that has had numerous cashes ( all decent), the holder of a APAT title ( before players learnt to play)

Where is he?

I"m actually planning on playing as many APAT events as I can this year - once my weekends are free again.

You can all sponsor me though for the marathon, it"s for Cancer Research UK:

I can"t make Coventry this weekend, and am gutted.

In fact, I might be able to get there but it would probably be about 5:30pm.  That"s 3 hours after it starts, so based on the structure and 10,000 starting stack - how many chips would I have left by 5:30?  I know it would be more than I"d usually have after 3 hours (thanks Stuart) - does anyone know?

How many times would I be going through the blinds during each level?

By my calculations it would still leave you apprx 8,000 chips, which you should be able to donk off in the following hour

8,000!  That"s more than enough, and more than I"d have if I was there from the start.

Right - see you all there Saturday!  Not been to Coventry since it was the Isle Casino, lovely place IIRC.

Well, of course.  You"re a trustworthy accountant.  Didn"t believe Foggy though, not until you"d backed up his calculation.

You better hope you"re not on my table.

We can all fold fast and give the dealer red bull.  ;D

Ye, but 8k aint much if the blinds are 150-300. I would hope to have around 20k by this level.  ;)

They"ll be 100/200 25 when I get there - I think.

40BBs is plenty to be able to get some chips (or alternatively lose them all).
