APAT are pleased to confirm details of the Welsh Online Poker Championship, taking place at 888poker from 8pm on Saturday, May 21st.
The entry fee for the event is $50 + $5, and players entering will start with 10,000 chips and 15 minute blind levels.
The winner of the event will receive a significant cash prize, National Title & Gold Medal and an entry to a UKIPT Main Event.
Satellites to the Online Championship event will be available at 888poker on Monday 16th May, Tuesday 17th May and Wednesday 18th May. Each satellite will offer one seat awarded for every $55 in the prizepool.
Monday 16th May 2010 - 8pm - $15+$1.50 Freezeout
Tuesday 17th May 2010 - 8pm - $10+$1 Freezeout
Wednesday 18th May 2010 - 8pm - $5+50c Rebuy
In addition to the main event, APAT are pleased to confirm the Welsh Online PL Omaha Event, taking place at 888poker from 9pm on Saturday, May 21st.
The entry fee for the event is $20 + $2, and players entering will start with 5,000 chips and 15 minute blind levels.
The winner of the event will receive a cash prize as per standard 888poker payouts, and an entry to an APAT National Championship event.
There will be one satellite available at 888poker on Wednesday 18th May at 8pm. This will be a $5+50c PLO Freezeout and will offer one seat for every $22 in the prizepool.
Both events are Ranking events; with 18 points available to the winner of the Main event and 9 points available to the winner of the Pot Limit Championship event.

WTF is going on with APAT tournies on 888? - wish there was some consistency. Had a decision to make with AA against a river raise for a massive pot - timed out after 20 seconds. Thought the timebank issue had been fixed ffs. Other guy showed JJ. Come on 888 - sort it out will ya.

ended up having to make a short stack shove way too early and lost the race. Should have been sat comfortable with 20k+ after the AA v JJ cock up.
cheers 888 - one screwed up tourney. At least advertise that there is no timebank in the lobby.

Yeah, disappeared the second it finished which was really wierd, as seen as the PLO was still there. Also 888 seems to have a few problems,
1. Really needs a timebank.
2. Really need brreaks in a tourney.
3. For some reason had 2 hands dealt where i could only see one hole card........ wierd ?!?
Ty all for the support, bottled at the end but couldn"t have gone to a worthier opponent and a lucky fish ;-)

i think leigh will be still waiting for the poker team at 888 to get back to him as they take at least 2 months to get back to any email you send them or the just dont bother at all
