It"s another biggie week in the flat racing season

Royal Ascot 2011 - Tipster Competition

Every day we will give you £100 APAT virtual pounds, freshly printed from the Bank of Duffy each morning.

You must have 3 bets each day using this £100 (Min Bet £10 win, £5 e/w).  Bets can be to win or each way, returns will be based on the official starting prices, and each way bets will be calculated on standard each way rules (no extra place promos).

Each day, you can pick a "nap", where we will add a 50% bonus to any winnings on that selection.  If you do not select a nap, your first bet of the day will count as your nap selection.

You must make selections for at least three out of the five days, and selections for the day must be posted on this thread prior to the start of the first race each day.

The person with the best return on the week will be declared the winner.  If you miss a day, you wil score zero for the day.

Thanks Leigh for going to the time and trouble running this comp. I really enjoyed it and as I had a week with not much work (except on the poker cash tables) I have had time to back my selections at Royal Ascot, which I probably wouldn"t have done without this comp. incl. my biggest winner which I backed at 25/1 on betfair.
I have entered an online horse tipping competition once before a couple of years ago and unbelievably won that too  :) More luck than judgement I would say.

I was going to order an Apat TShirt anyway so these are great prizes for me and I will wear them with pride.

Thanks for running this Leigh.  No that it matters but I think my scores are wrong as I had a return of 585 for the week for a profit of 17%.  I only point this out as you having been describing me on FB as an "expert".  Whilst this is a great description for noble, I cannot pretend to be in his league.  I just use the lucky pin...
