Title: WCOAP Reflections
Post by: AMRN on August 29, 2011, 09:31:32 AM
My WCOAP Reflections:

- APAT festivals are just fantastic.

- The 15k stack and structure for the Main Event was awesome (wish we could have it for the Nationals)

- John Murray is great fun to sit next to for several hours playing poker.

- Looking forward to PLO today, but wish I didn"t need to play it.

- Wales are too good, and should be banned from future team events to give others a chance.

- Tighty, Leigh, Des, Ian, and Mrs Ian, are all my heroes.

Another awesome weekend, some brilliant memories... once again, many thanks to Des, Leigh, Tighty and helpers for all your hard work in making these events happen and ensuring they run so smoothly.

Best entertainment of the weekend was our six max table, a laugh a minute. At one point Rudders Snr was heard to say : "Oy ! My name"s Rudders, not Udders... you"re milking me !" You Sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.

Just home after the 5 hour drive, which wasn"t the same without my Coventry bud Derek liddle. Awesome weekend, thanks again to all the APAT team for their non-stop hard work and coverage. To everyone who played on the same tables and to all the gang I"ve gotten to know over the past few years, I tip my hat to each and everyone of you for another fantastic APAT experience. I"ll post a bit more on my blog once I"ve got my head together.

Roll on the next time  ;D
