The member inducted into the APAT Hall of Fame will extol the positive virtues of APAT; that of fair play, courtesy, community, achievement and a wish to see the game change for the better.
One member will be inducted on December 30th. The award winner will win a free seat into an APAT National Championship event.
a bribe out of the question then....

Before any member is inducted into the Hall of Fame I would hope that the 3 "founding fathers" of APAT, in Des, Rich and Tikay, are the first names in lights.
Without you three, there would be no APAT 8)

^ And so say All Of Us

This reminds me of my rather dissapointed feeling when I first saw the "Poker Hall of Fame" in Binions, Las Vegas... just some photos on a "wall" standing adjacent to the poker room.
Some damn fine poker players on there though, how many do you recognise?

When there last month and whilst clowning around trying to get a photo with my face in the centre frame, of the 35 photos, I could name only around a dozen. To the best of my memory they included - Johnny Moss, Puggy Pearson, Doyle Brunson, Nick The Greek, Stu Ungar, Phil Hellmuth, Johnny Chan, TJ Cloutier and the now late great Chip Reese.
Wikipedia, as expected, has the full list if anyone wants to cheat :)

thanks, we grease the cogs but the players make APAT what it is. There are several obvious candidates for this, and in reality we could enter several as it is the first year of the HoF, but I believe we will stick with one player.

How did the guy on the far right in the middle row sneak into the Hall of Fame? I"ve played with him, he"s rubbish.

::)
I"ve just started trying to catch up after Christmas! However, I can report that we are having the HoF scrolls carved as we speak.....not long now. Rio will tell you it could be a week from this point, but this evening or tomorrow should do the job!

Have i missed something, the email notifying me of my induction certainly hasnt come through yet!?
-
? hello...

It"s not you Max ::)
If you want to narrow down the search, it is now likely that this announcement will be made next Saturday in Cardiff.

You seldom are. It"s your "years of experience".

Quite a story. Humbling reading indeed.
Congratulations on the deserved induction.
