Good stuff! All very exciting!
I"ve just posted this elsewhere - anyone know how to get the APAT tournaments on the iPad? When you go on the "tournamet" tab, it has a big list of tournaments, but not all of them, I think.
Any ideas?
It"s OK. I have a normal computer too!

I"ve been able to find the tournament easily enough on the iPhone, so it"s almost certainly there Joe. Make sure your tournament filters make sense, and that your time is set to WET, then scroll down to 7pm.

Still can"t find it in "tournaments", but I went to "search" and it had "registered tournaments" and it was there. Thanks for your help, though!
-
registered :)
-
Sorry Rivergift - first hand and I hadn"t checked this list yet. I had a set :$
-
What"s this? 2 sets in 10 minutes, got my chips in, didn"t get spiked.
Now watch me dust off this 13k double quick
-
Aces no good obv.
GL team

well over 500 players, did apat expect this many? long night ahead for some

Aces no good obv.
GL team
I"m still in but lost a huge pot earlier with QQ
Hefty 3 betting pre and betting almost the pot on the flop obviously isn"t enough of a clue that a baby pair isn"t winning - obviously they hit a set after they"d called that flop bet. I"m not naming names though as they"re from the SE :D
But still in - that"s the important part.
-
I"m registered, 9.7k at first break
-
Late reg from me, for some reason I thought the tourney was starting at 8 - Lord Munty
-
Think we have 5 of the top 25 atm - hopefully we"ll keep it up (may have missed a couple of players too as this thread hasn"t been updated) - hbk20066 is one of ours :)
-
just lost a 10k pot with aces, some mug hit runner runner for their flush
-
I"m gone, my 5b all in with AK was called by a player who had not yet acted with JJ....very lol at a lot of the play tonight
-
Spoke too soon, I"ve dropped half my stack vs a random bluff I very nearly snapped off with 4th pair. Didn"t have enough timebank so took the safe option and folded. Then did 5k blind on blind with A5 vs a weirdly played A7 that flopped 2 pair.
Mr Michael Perry is back in the pack too, sigh.
-
Feel sick, firstly took a team mate out AK > AJ, but had to call as both getting short and already folded TT to his previous shove.
Whilst I keep an eye on the team aspect, really can"t keep folding hands against them. I guess at the end of the day you have to play your usual game and let the poker gods decide.
Secondly, with the combined chips had hoped to run better than this ::)

3rd at the break 69k ish. Easily enough to donk off within a few hands.
-
18 left out of 122 to so in good shape. 2 in top 10 (WarBwastard and GiftLv) and 6 in top 30. 15 in top 100.
Keep it going guys.

Well that was fun. NOT!!!
Shoved 8h 8s with 11 bigs in early position and get re-raised by teammate with AK. K on river.
After all the things we mentioned beforehand about protecting the team numbers and then it get"s completely ignored.
-
Gone 95th place - damage was done two hands before when I had QQ and two players all in with AK....K on the flop and K on the turn and most of my chips gone. Left with 10 BB"s so shove to a raise on the button with KQ and get called by AK again....THE END!
-
14 left with 93 players remaining with a few well set. C"mon people.

I"ve tangled with a teammate on a couple of occasions (my 53s v KQ - I had to call given my stack and the pot. Then I jam 8.5BB with J5o, get called by 77 and river trip 5s - wish I"d saved the run good for the Million I just busted).
If someone wishes to play as an individual, then it"s entirely up to them - better that people play than not. Just pop a note on and play as normal against them next time.

seriously?
when we hit the money, we will still need to lose 2/3 of the field before we make the points.
Having 14 or 15 players min cash is not going to win the league - having 7 or 8 get into the cash with decent stacks so that 4 or 5 can then get into the points - that will be the "easiest" way to build a lead in the league table.

Anything can happen with 120 players left it just takes one double up. IMO he can"t possibly think he"s in front as I shove early, so why risk it. Against another team, fair enough maybe but why take out one of your own team, with A high.
-
Standard. Jam 14BB from the button with T2o. Naturally the BB has AA. Drawing dead by the turn.
I shove into AA so often it"s disgusting! 74th.
-
I enjoyed that up and down like a yo-yo and went out trying a stop and go.....chip up or go home...went home :(
Gl to all remaining SE and what a gr8 turnout for the first night lets hope we can keep it up, well done APAT and Stars
cheers
Ian

Ak v88 curly I hit time and thought ?...racing against you has 2 outcomes, firstly, you win double your stack and we both have good chip stack or I win and stop other team from gettin your chips and have better chance at deep run.. guess I should of passed team play an al that but it is so early in the tourney that soft playing team mates won"t gee top points more important when on 7 or so players left in and near the points..... Got real lucky later I have Jc Kc cut off our player calls I call small makes up blind.....flop 4c 4h Js....ck ck ck I move in get called by Ah 4d in smal blind ...river a Jd bigger house ouch ul newportlad.

Go on southeast 3intop 8
-
Is it correct that only the top 18 get points...? Seems a bit harsh only 3.2 percent of 547 field scoring points ...or am I just being thick at this time in the morning
-
27 get points
-
As I see it we are guaranteed 2nd and can only be beaten by Scotland. Our min points are 36 with a max of 64 and theirs is min 22 man 50.
-
If leepmar82 finishes 2nd we win, I think.
We could do with one of the Scottish boys going out soon, although they are luckboxing like mad at the minute.

With APATSatino going out in 4th we are the winners ;D
WP all, great turnout and even better result.
And VWP Lee Mardon, who is g"teed 3rd at mom.

Lee finished 3rd having got in good, KK v A7 and yet again Louis Manson binks what he needs :"(
An excellent result all round.
-
Well done Lee, awesome result.
Congratulations to the other points scorers and cashers.
See you all next week - keep the same numbers going and we"ll win the league.
Remember, if you score any points for the team, you"d be entitled to a portion of a team members winnings in the UKIPT/Sunday Mill etc :)

I think you forget the KJ shove called down by both Scottish players with ATs and 77 for the win ... J on the river!
Anyway great start to the league.
Final table very balanced at the start allowing for lots of play.
Game on!

Terrific performance! WD all, great result!
-
Congrats all that cashed. Can"t see me playing many of these though, miss about half through working to begin with.
Structure wayyyy to slow for me, all that happened from what I saw was either coolers or beats, otherwise it was a fold fest
-
Congrats Rich and team on a great opening result in the League.

Well what a great start to the season for our team.
58 runners, out of 81 registered, and I may have missed one or two in all the mayhem, proving, if proof be needed, that numbers certainly help.
Congrats to Lee (leepmar82), Frank (GiftedLv), Jon (Jon MW), Rich (WarBwastard), Michael, (MichaelPerry) and Joe (joker161) for all finishing in the points, sadly Joe"s points don"t count for the team score as only 5 players scores count, but they do count for his individual tally.
Also in the money were Steve (alsomati), Richard (travel_52), Steve (covo23), Dave (dwh103), Alan (teaulc), Ian (TRIGGER1964), with Ken (kmcb914) sadly being the money bubble boy. All told we had 15 players in the top 100 which is superb in itself.
The dynamics of such a large field are somewhat different to last season, and I found myself the middle pin in a line of 5 SE players for most of the game. (a little annoying when there were 10 tables with no SE player on them) I was either re-raising one of our players or hoping one didn"t re-raise one of my raises. It handcuffed me somewhat as blind steals were impossible (folded suited aces 5 times on the button!!).
I think we played the team game about a well as we were able, but at the end of the day there is also $1000+ up top so that has to be respected as well. All in all it was an enjoyable game and I hope you all enjoyed it too.
Please rally as many players as possible for next week and lets keep this Juggernaut rolling.
