I know how you feel, I save all my run good for $2 MTTs I"m playing "for a laugh".
Sunday Million? Noooooooooooo.
-
Too many players to list Myles. Having a nightmare trying to keep up myself.
Looks like we had 44 runners, with 35 still in at the 1st break. Only 2 in the points at the moment, leepmar (1st) and Spazmong (24th).
Socks up please people ;)
-
Not going so well this week.
I"ve played 12 hands and won 5 of them - but still managed to lose 2500 chips :o
-
I"m getting 3 and 4bet relentlessly. Sigh.
Seems like most of us are stuck at or around starting stack, but with the numbers we have someone"s going to come through :)
-
seems far to quick to me. Also being 4 bet shoved on every raise. Called once AK v J 10 (?) and doubled up, called again 99 v JJ bye bye.
-
Out in 320th
I notice about 140 players out in about 70 minutes
I"m not convinced that a tournament losing a player every 30 seconds is a good reflection of the structure.
-
Yeah, it seems insanely quick for the changes that have been made. Feels like there are fewer levels - I"m sure it"ll be tweaked again.

More a statement about the standard of play imo

Totally agree Jon. This is virtual shove fest after an hour.

I don"t think so* - average stack has been less than 30 blinds for ages - perfect size for a 3 bet shove. At the rate the blinds are going it won"t be long until the mathematically correct players will be open shoving their ranges - hence lots of all ins and lots of people going out.
*people might not actually be playing this way to get themselves knocked out, so you might be right
-
Sorry Jon, didn"t realise that the stacks had got that shallow already, obv i"m not playing tonight.
Structure obv contributing to it in that case, still think a fair amount will have been due to players getting chips in light when they didn"t need to. Would be interesting to see some of the bust out hands
-
Total shove fest.....u get one shot basically and if u get unlucky or dont hit your fkd!!
About half field gone after 90 mins is just ridiculous............shant be playing again unless structure sorted......5k and 12 min way fwd I think.
Out btw!! :"(
-
Defintley feels more like a turbo structure....at least 5k starting stack but blinds are ok at 12mins unless we start to have less runners. Trial and error, but need to get the structure right!
-
It just needs more levels before everyone is down to 20-30BBs (as Jon alluded to).
At the moment the starting stack is down to 20 bigs after an hour - some extra levels early like 30/60, 40/80 to pad out the structure would be very welcome.
Or give everyone a lot more chips. 10k starting and then it"s 30-40 minutes further before you reach 20BBs - that"s all it would increase the length of the tournament by too.
-
Rich, any chance of a list of the players that are still in mate?
-
I may have missed someone here:
DonColino
dwh103
Joker161
LeaveMeOut
leepmar82
MintTrav
Mr_PokerBits
NPenfold
Quasar9
sean69
Spazmong
TRIGGER1964
No-one aside from Lee really threatening the chipleaders.
I"ve been stuck on half the average for ages, stealing here and there, whilst watching absolute tripe been typed in chat by people not really playing in the APAT spirit (let alone they clearly know nothing about poker either ;)).
-
I"m out :( My AQ ran into AA

Ian (TRIGGER1964) finished in a very respectable 14th place for 7 points and as I write Lee (leepmar82) has just finished 2nd which guarantees us 3rd place and 3 league points.
Sadly we couldn"t improve further as London and Scotland already had more than our max of 32. Congrats to Scotland for the outright win.
In summary we had a very tough night tonight but we still managed to get 3 valuable points, which is a great result considering the dodgy start to the evening.
VWP to Ian and Lee (mooooosive points once again and runaway individual leader) on a great effort.
See you all next week.
