After a fair amount of discussion, it has been decided, by APAT, to keep the 4k/12min structure for this week.
It comes under advisment from Pokerstars that this structure is the best available to achieve our desired 1am (2am Eurotime) finishing time.
It is certainly not my preference, or any other of our team members that expressed an opinion, as far as I can see, but that is what we have.
We are 2nd in the league and although week 2 caught a large number of us out, lets hope we have an even better week this week.
Good luck to all.

Good luck in round 3 of the "royal rumble" ...

ty kind sir, and the same to you and your kinfolk ;)
-
We have axes and sticks to chop you and beat you with ... ::)
-
will give it one more week but if the same shovefest as last week afraid im done.....would rather be using the limited BR in a decent structured MTT
-
Story of my year. Play bad, and no luck to go with it. Raised huge pre with AK, flop Kh 8h 6h - bet and called the shove in the hope he was just drawing. Nope, bottom set.
I normally run into AA/KK all the time, now my opponents are upgrading to sets.
-
Wow, done by a full house on the river again. 3 weeks on the bounce. At least my chips went to a team mate, good luck Mint.
-
Just got lucky: AK .v. KK and it comes QJT.
Do we know how many players we have in today?
-
By my count we have 25 left in of 36 that started.
Possible I may have missed someone who has late entered and I don"t have tagged.
Good luck those left in.
-
Scotland have also lost quite a few players, by my count there are 18 of them left - 8 in the top 100. 16 South East left out of 190 players - 6 in top 100. Will have to go some to hit the big points places this week.
I"ve been tagging them as dreadfully bored.
-
Me gone. Got it in with a royal flush draw and two overs on the flop and missed everything. Just too many outs I guess :(
-
Gone too. What is it with people calling with dodgy hands tonight and thinking they"re in good shape?
Twice wrote a comment in the chatbox after my donking, but managed to force myself to delete it both times.
-
We have 7 left out of 79. 3 in points
-
Scots just lost a bunch. I count kevlar1991, LombBomb, Jaybles91 and nomug as their only remaining players - are there any more that anyone knows of?

5 left out of 60. 4 in points
Sorry all. I went out 65th with a stupid move. I was hanging in there too. Try harder next week. I have to say that it would appear any two cards are good enough for many players.
I counted 31players from SE starting.
-
now 3/54, oput of our original starting line up of 37. 58 week 1, 47 week 2.
gumbo1 14.5k
leavemeout 17.8k
spazmong 31.4k

Matt gone in 41st. 2 left so v.difficult to score much, if at all, as 3 teams have 5 left and 2 have 4.

out 27th....sorry guys but a point a point.
Last game for me unless the structure is sorted out.....see my post in other game 3 thread about how it compares to another mtt that started on stars at same time with same clock......we were running at 4x the blinds after approx 1hr which is just ridiculous!!
Over 1/3 of field gone by 2nd break......numbers dropped from over 500 to just about 300 and will drop again next week....says it all really!!...so much for APAT listening!!
-
Just a rubbish tournament for everyone all round it seems :(
Better luck next week, if we keep these numbers up we"ll be ok.

Yep, we had a shocker really. This structure is pretty awful IMO and just forces you to do things that you don"t really want to do, and just hope. Not poker IMO.
On the plus side, with 17 left in sadly we are out, but Scotland only have one left, as do Wales. WM have 3 and NW 2 and NE 3, Ire 2 and Yorks 2, plus some single runners.
I could mean that we don"t lose too much ground if things go well, as all the scorers look to have 0 points.
Fingers crossed.
-
Watched quite a lot of the tournament and once the pinch started was pretty much at pinch point until the last 17 runners where a tiny bit of play has broken out ...
-
^^^^ yeah at one point before we were even ITM I think everyone at my table was less than 20 BB"s!! ??? ???
-
As it stands with 8 left.
Scotland 1 left min 19 max 33
SE 0 left max 4
NW 0 left max 14
SW 1 left min 15 max 29
NE 1 left min 23 max 37
Lon 0 left max 0
Yorks 2 left min 23 max 47
Ire 0 left max 18
EofE 0 left max 7
Wales 0 left max 12
WM 2 left min 33 max 57
Eur 1 left min 14 max 28

Sigh, the one unregistered player doesn"t count, gives Scotland an extra point that bumps them up to 3rd for 3 points.
West Mids alongside us on 8, with Scotland having clear air at the top.
