Kicking things off tonight with the $3.30 six max at 6pm. All the events have 5K chips and 10 min blinds so will play deep, at least for the first few hours.
0/3 in stakes so far - feeling really confident about this one. Legoooooooooooooooo.

Shoved A7s on the button for just short of 15bb"s last hand before blinds went up. Snapped by 1010 and couldn"t win. Got last 1bb in next hand with 74 and lost.

For transparency I finished 424/15,768 in the $3.30 MicroMillions Event 3 which wasn"t on the stake. Had some free time this morning so decided to reg, was actually anti-railing myself towards the end.
Bad start to the 4 max - lost two thirds of my stack just getting owned in every pot. Time to spin it up.

I don"t think I played great, villain was a maniac and couldn"t work out the best way of exploiting him.
Exit hand looks a bit spewy but he was min raising all my opens and the dynamic was weird.

4-max hand looks fine as you"re essentially playing HUHU.

In the 4 max hand....
3x preflop is too much, especially when villain is raising you lots. Min raise is fine, we save 50 when we fold and pot is smaller when we flat his many 3 bets which we should do often but mostly in position.
On the flop 300 - 315 is plenty and does"nt scare the bottom of his range into correctly folding, what can call that you beat? As played, its such a dry board and villain is super keen to get all the chips in the pot, we only beat A2,A4,A5,A6 + A7 of the possible hands he will play this fast and it"s somewhat likely he he flats with those type of hands a decent amount. Draws are so unlikely here that folding is a real option, easier to suggest that knowing the result obviously but in a 3b pot on an A3J flop can we really be happy getting 40 bigs in with such a weak hand?

Hard to say without knowing a bit more about the play.
Doing it into a big stacks BB does mean you are likely to get a call with a much wider range of hands.
If you were looking for a double up, then it"s not a bad spot to get lucky.

I think it"s bad although I wasn"t expecting the big stack to iso raise as wide as A10.
Limpers were serial limp folders and blinds were up next hand so not terrible. Think range should be something like A8+ K10+ pairs etc. Prefer shoving into blinds next hand rather than trying to get this through.

With still 1,000 runners to go until the money, and with you only holding 10BBs this looks like one of those spots where adding 30% to your stack or more than doubling up will make a massive difference. Either drift down and wait for a double up, or grind your way to a bigger stack to make that future double up really count.
It depends how the table is playing, if the blinds are about to go up, there"s a lot of raising going on etc, a good idea to get it in here.

If you"ve constantly been abusing people in position then he can apply the same logic you"re using with a hand that"s ahead of the limper"s ranges and probably ahead of yours. If you"ve not shown these tendencies and your stats are solid, then I"m not a fan. His read would have to be spot on, so I"d tend towards the latter opinion.

well to call he"s getting 1.6/1 ish to need about 38% , if he"s putting u on 55+ AJs+ A9s A8s A4s KJs+ T9s 98s 87s AJo+ KJo+
also he shuts out the limpers a hell of a lot, so mostly he only risks 10% of his stack versus your range, and if a limper calls as well then he only risks 20% of his stack... seems ok to me...

I really really enjoyed playing these events. I am obviously pleased to make a profit, albeit a small one. As with 99% of MTT"s, it feels like so near but yet so far. I think that 4/6 events that I cashed I had >100K from 5K starting stacks and threatened to go really deep. Frustrating but I do think a 4 figure score is not too far away.
I am going to have almost two full weeks off from online poker now. I played 15 hours yesterday, 8 hours on Saturday and 7 hours on Friday. A gruelling weekend and I need a break. Thanks to anyone that railed and hope we can bink again next time. Will be selling again for weekend of 4th/5th August, will put up a thread a few days before.

I love punting money off, why would I want to stop, what the point in money if you are not punting it off ???. However there does not seem much point in sending it back and forth so you can keep hold of it and we will just send whatever additional you need for the next stake.

As for the standard, all of the headline tournaments are the same. Every fecker enters and that includes the freeroll level players. Case in point being the K8 that can never pass to the size of your 3bet (which is obviously why he should never be opening in the first place).

I think that 4/6 events that I cashed I had >100K from 5K starting stacks and threatened to go really deep. Frustrating but I do think a 4 figure score is not too far away.
I am going to have almost two full weeks off from online poker now. I played 15 hours yesterday, 8 hours on Saturday and 7 hours on Friday. A gruelling weekend and I need a break. Thanks to anyone that railed and hope we can bink again next time. Will be selling again for weekend of 4th/5th August, will put up a thread a few days before.

I guess he has priced himself into the call with his ridic open. I had never played a $22 tournament before on Stars. Had some of the most insanely good tables I have ever seen. Way more value in this than any of the $1-5 tourneys I play.
