With the football season just round the corner, it"s time to flex your management muscles and make your selections for your Fantasy Football Squad for the season 2012/13.
We are running two APAT leagues this season via Premier League Fantasy Football (http://fantasy.premierleague.com/).
You need to select your squad of 15 players following the rules online, then join up either or both of the mini leagues below.
The classic league sees your weekly points cumulate throughout the season with the top scorer taking the title, whereas the Head to Head league will see you play another team each week, 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw. The top 8 will then play Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and a Final in the last three weeks.
We will be providing an APAT National Live Seat worth £82.50 for the winner of each of the leagues (Should the winner of both leagues be the same, then the runner up in the classic league will get the seat)
Spread the word, and get those teams in. You can make unlimited changes right up until kickoff on Saturday 18th August 2012, and then weekly substitutions throughout the season.

Head 2 Head League - 390101-199052
The H2H League will close for entry before the first fixtures of the season. I will close the Classic league for entries prior to the second week of fixtures, so as to be fair to any late entries and those that have taken the time to enter in advance.
Post up your team names here, so we know who"s in.
You will need both an APAT Forum account and an APAT Online Cardroom account to be able to claim any prize from the league

I"ll give it until the end of the first week of fixtures for anyone who had already picked a team to get into the league, then it will be locked.
The H2H league auto locks at the start of the season, as far as I have read.

I have adjusted the H2H league so that with three weeks to go, the top 8 teams will play Quarter Finals, then Semi Finals, then a Final to decide the winner.
Makes it a bit more exciting. ;)

Does anyone know how the Knockout bit of the head to head league will work this week? i.e is it 1st v 8th and 2nd v 7th etc or is it a random draw?
