My name is Craig Dawson. I have never asked for Staking before.
Some of you may know me from the Apat Live Tour. I have played in Eight Apat Live Events and managed to Final Table in two of them.
I am a member of Team North West in the Apat Online League.
My recent successes include becoming The Apat Scottish Online Player Of The Series in October and winning Gold Medal in the Online Main Event.

My Hendon Mob:
http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=180161

I haven"t been playing poker for many years but I play at least 4 or 5 times a week and sometimes every night . Recently I have started to take poker more seriously and enjoy going over my HH online and "Live".

The first time I ever moved up a level to pay a £100 buy-in was in 2010. It was a GUKPT side event in Blackpool and I somehow managed to Final Table in a field of 131 knocking out 7 Bounties along the way.
I  played two GPS Tournaments last year with a £430 entry fee. The first one was 11 months ago at Star City where I got down to the last three tables in a field of 365 cashed for £1,460 with the eventual £18k winner sat to my right for a big part of the day.

I don"t feel intimidated at this Level, and would love to reward Stakers who would be willing to take a punt on me.

Last night I played the re-buy satellite to the 25/25 Series with 2 seats guaranteed. It generated 3 seats and I was successful.
I have used my £220 entry token to register online for Flight 1.

I am feeling confident my game at the moment both online and "Live". I am working hard this year to improve, and with the help of staking opportunities like this would like to enter more tournaments that qualify for Hendon Mob data entries, and my aim is to reward backers with a few quid along the way.

If anyone else would like a share of me this weekend
I have decided to have a cut off on Wednesday 23rd at midnight to take anymore staking, so I know exactly who and what % I have in advance.
I will be playing whatever percentage I sell from 20% up to a max of 70%

Thanks again

Craig

Hi Craig

I"m not so keen on buying part of a re-entry but I would buy 10% of your first shot for £22, if you are interested in that.

If that causes confusion or issues with your other backers, then not to worry.

That is perfectly fine John.
£22 for 10% of my first action

I have actually now won two online satellites for the 25/25 Series, My second one can be used as a re-entry to the same event or a separate entry for a future Leg, but that is irrelevant to your offer

Hello again
Just a reminder that the deadline for this staking is tomorrow night so please any more interested parties confirm by then. I will then know a few days in advance what percentage I have sold.

Thanks
Craig

Hi John
I have sent you a PM explaining how I will be playing my first shot (basically not as tight as in a standard freezeout). The offer is still there of the 10% if you wish to take it.
I understand if you choose not to invest this time under the circumstances. Please can you confirm or otherwise.

Thanks again
Craig

In flight 2 I went out about 3am. I don"t want to use tiredness as an excuse because I am used to long sessions now both online and Live.
I played really well last night. I won a few pots after sensing weakness. I made some good lay downs including JJ pre-flop. I picked up a few orphan pots at the right time. I was up to 82K and getting respect from the table. I felt in control.
My "error" hand that crippled my stack from 82k to 25k was not good play by me in hindsight. Without going in to too much detail there were reasons why I played it the way I did, including history with the opponent, the fact that it was the last hand before the break etc.
I shouldn"t have got involved with this good player with a decent stack when there were better opportunities on the table to exploit. I am very critical of my play. I didn"t keep it small ball so ended up being priced in on the turn with both a straight draw and flush draw to his all in bet. I was getting a good price to call at this point because of my previous 3bet mistake. I missed my draws which would have put me as one of the tournament chip leaders going into day 2.
I know that if I keep playing the way I am, and I keep studying more strategy to eradicate any possible mistakes I will have success.
I am really disappointed not to reach day 2. A few players and staff were tipping me to at least Final Table this tournament, which is reassuring and gives me confidence that I am being recognized and heading in the right direction.
Thank you to the stakers who took a chance with me.
