We have had a couple of late drop outs which leaves us with just 13 runners which is just about the worst number possible.
Therefore we have little choice but to cancel our "home game".
Genting have a £25 + £5 game on at 8pm which is "win the hand win the button", which sounds fun, and I will play this.
Alternatively, The G has a £40 +£6 with a £20 add on or re-buy at 7.30.
Best laid plans and all that.......
In previous years, the members, of the APAT Luton Poker Club, plus guests, have played a "home game" on the Friday night preceding the team event. It has been a fun night designed to continue the camaraderie that we built up over the previous 3-4 years.
Sadly the G casino has a large event (120 + runners with a buy in of £66) on that night and can"t accommodate us until after 9.30 pm, but the Genting Casino has room for us. It is a smaller casino on the Dunstable side of the M1 at Junction 11, about 5 mins by car from the G Casino.
They have agreed for us to have 2 dealer dealt tables, from 8 pm, with an 8K stack and a 25 minute clock, for £25 + £5.

I"m staying at the comfort hotel (which I"m pretty is a contradiction in terms!) on Mill Street so will dump my bag and get a cab over... do you mind PM"ing me yours or someone else"s mobile number so I can text if it looks like I"ll be late please?

Given the treck across from where I"m staying, I might just play at the G as it will be easier for me... or I might stay a extra night at home.
I"ll sleep on it and decide in the morning. Be interested to see what others post before making a final decision.

Erm. My god. Feel guilty much! I"m genuinely extremely sorry for this to have happened, knowing the work that no doubt went into sorting this out.

#TeamBlonde are meeting up at the G at 6pm tonight. Would be good to see some of the normal crowd if you are not going to Genting.

Win the Button is great fun. Brings all sorts of extra dynamic into a game, especially as the blinds rise. Get yourself a seat to the left of the least aggressive players at the table and make life hell for the people to your left.
