When I go to DTD I always stay at the P & J Hotel on Derby road....they have both single rooms with shared facilities or en-suite...if i"m on my own i usually just do the shared facilities because they"re well kept up and clean and you also get free breakfast for the price of your room.  Price from March 28th-April 1st (4 nights) £153 and if you want 3 nights it"s £116.
Double or Twin with shared facilities for 3 nights is £142 or ensuite is £163. Four night doubles £187 with shared facilities and £215 for ensuites.  It"s a family run hotel and I"ve always had a good stay when going there and it"s only 3 miles away from DTD by car but only 1.3 miles away if you"d like to walk like i do. Or if you go right their own site it may be a couple quid cheaper.

There"s my hotel review for you all :)

p.s. they are also listed on laterooms as well if you wanna use that link.

Thanks Carey.

It"s always worth having a review from someone who has actually stayed at a non-obvious property.

Hi All. My wonderful Mrs and I have just booked 29th and 30th in Holiday inn castle marina for the grand sum
of £39 a night Via a groupon voucher ;D
Hurry up, but if you want more than 1 night you need be a bit slick as although it says you can gift them
we found they won"t let you. So it"s basically 1 per person/per booking.
So I booked 29th and my better half booked 30th ;)
But if you get family and friends (to buy them for you)who haven"t signed up to groupon you get an
extra £6 voucher to spend on something else for recommending them.
Remember to recommend them from the hotel offer page.
And it"s one (room) booking per voucher. Although they shouldn"t move you if you let them know
what your doing when you book.
The hotel Tel No. is 01159935000 ask for reservations.

Be careful with the groupon deal.  They usually only allow a few rooms per night under deals like that, so make sure they"ve not allocated all the groupon rooms for those dates before you buy the groupon.

If it"s the Riverside Travelodge (I assume it is), then as Paulie says the pub next door is decent.

All you really need for sustenance is their home made cheesecake. Incred.

My mates and I stay at the riverside travelodge every year when we come down from Scotland to play the WSOAP, the pub next door does a great fry up,  tbh we are probably more excited about the huge mixed grill that they serve than the actual poker , lol, it takes some eating MAN vs FOOD style
