Hi everyone, the Team that will represent Wales in the forthcoming, " Apat World Team Championships" 2013 at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham shall consist of the following players, in alphabetical order:-
Warren Jones
Paul McGuinness (Captain)
Gary Phillips
Steve Roderick
Darren Shallis
I feel We have once again put together a very well balanced squad, all of the team is strong, having made final tables of Apat events(Namely Darren), have served well in WCOAP before, Warren Medalling and Gary going very deep in the Main event, not quite as deep
as Rodders tho( ;D ;D) Each player stand on their own results over time and will all pull together as one for the Motherland. So, we shall give our utmost to try and bring home some silverware. I hope we can guarantee the same level of support as in previous festivals.
Very best of luck to all the other teams that are competing, i know it will be in the best Apat spirit, with the added edge of competition. Enormous thank you in advance to Team Apat for making this special occasion possible, and to DTD for hosting yet again. :)
So we will see you all on the felt next month.........Roll up, roll up.............................ROLL UP!!!

Right Back from Worlds !!!
1st a big thank you to all my team mates
Warren , Steve , Darren, and our beloved captain ( lol) Paul.
We had a bad start on day 1 ( especially ME ) but we came back on day 2 and as the tables show not a lot between 3rd and 10th in points !!
Well done on England on the WIN , great result !!, you started well and continued into day 2 to go heads up and an outstanding heads up matches sealed the gold !!
Also congrats to our good friends the canadians on a well deserved Bronze, a good all round team performance !!
Steve , you had great worlds winning 2 golds , and Todd unlucky with the silver but a great performance from you both,
As for myself a 5th in the RAZZ for a min cash ( even though I"ve never played before LOL , thanks for the advice to players on my table )
As to day 2 of the worlds , 38th ok but I know I didn"t play as well as I could !! :"( :"(
Well done to all the other medal winners
And finally many thanks to everyone from APAT and DTD who made this event what it was ( great )
but most of all to all APATERS who make these events what they are !!
A GREAT BUNCH OF PEOPLE !! :)
