Hi guys
Our first round of the knockout stages (first of a few) is nearly here! I"m sure you"re all aware by know that it is John Murray"s OBWYTLT Shakira Shakira team that we are up against. I"m not going to bother with the inspirational "lets trash talk the other team" motivational speech....we don"t need to! We know what we need to do and we know that we can do it....so let"s go and TID!
Registration will be open at 7.30 this evening....please remember there"s no late reg so get in as early as you can!

Sorry, out. Didn"t really have a chance. Every time I had a pair, the board came suited and straightening and I faced massive bets. Best hand I got, I was up against quad aces - I was probably lucky to still be in the tournament at that point. I tried playing suited connectors a couple of times, but as usual, flopped straight+flush draws that either didn"t get there, or made somebody a better hand. Sat there and watched everybody else winning pots with crap hands that hit magic cards on the river - I didn"t.
