I"ve got a few bets made.  MTOY is one of them and followed one or two of Channing"s as well.  I pick most on the morning of the race.  A few aren"t decided until right before the race.  Either way, happy to post here as the week goes on.  Nice to have a place for the Cheltenham banter.  ONE MORE SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Good luck us!!!

Know feck all about horses but a degen gambler from the aquarium who works in a bookies posted on FB

"Can"t wait till tomorrow when we can watch My Tent or Yours struggling 2 out and fLoudering on the famous Cheltenham hill, with Dodging Bullets taking it up from 1 an a half from from a tiring Jezki but Davy Russell cruising behind on Un Atout and ruby pushing along Champagne Fever back in 5th.... Then 1 out, Davy presses the button and Un Atout screams up the Hill to claim Cheltenham glory with an effortless victory.

Supreme Novice Hurdle 1,2,3 will be Un Atout, Dodging Bullets and Champagne Fever."

In the hurricane fly camp, can see the race turning into a sprint with no front runners in the field. If this happens there"s only one winner.

I lied. lol  Thought I"d gone with MTOY, but must have changed my mind unknown to meself.  My main bets for today...

Jezki - win
Simonsig - win (money back for another bet if he doesn"t win - thanks to WH offer earlier in the week)
Loch Ba - e/w
Zarkandar - win
Countrywide Flame - e/w
Bostons Angel - e/w (meh.  Not sure.  Was either BA or Outlaw Pete so I flipped a coin and BA won the flip)
Une Artiste - e/w
The Druids Nephew - e/w
Hazy Tom - e/w (Again wasn"t sure.  Torn between TDN and HT, but didn"t want to flip this time, so a bit on each)
Ohio Gold - e/w (DO NOT TAKE AS TIP!!!  I"m from Ohio...only reason for the bet.  lol)

That"s my lot for today.  Fingers crossed and time to chill.  Good luck everyone.  Let"s doooooooo this!

THANK YOU MR. CHANNING!  Quevega got there in the end, but I wasn"t on her.  Ruby was.  A treble for him on a fab first day.  Been going along ok today, but after seeing Neil"s results so far today, decided to follow two of his tips in this race...

1. Quevega 8/11f
2. Sirene Dainay 33/1 - NC tip
3. Swincombe Flame 40/1 - NC tip

wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii - At those odds, the pair of them make a boat load more than 1st and I"m a very happy bunny!

Not adding to the bets I posted for the final race, so I suppose it"s time to get the dinner on.  lol

I chose my horses last night, but I read what he and one other person have to say before I place my bets.  If they mention an issue I wouldn"t have known about, I either have a re-think and pick another or just go with their tip.  If they"ve picked something different, but not had bad words to say about my choice, I stick with mine.  I"ll post "em up once I place the bets...probably within the next hour or so.

For anyone not signed up Channing gone with these:

2.05 Rule the World & The New One
2.40 Vintage Star

Had a great time at Cheltenham yesterday, numerous glasses of Champagne, followed by numerous pints of the Black stuff. Logged on to Channing, and couldn"t really agree with him on much! Was all over "The New one" until Bob Champion told us the stable had a virus, so switched my allegiance! Oh dear. Any way had Back in Focus in the first, Pont Alexandre in the second, Boston Bob in the third, Sizing Europe in the fourth, and this where it starts to get good! In the Fifth thanks to Steve Smith Eccles I was on Medinas to win, paid 43:1 on the tote! Ptit Zig EW in the sixth, and then in the 7th had Briar Hill at 25:1 to win! How the hell was that 25:1!
So three winners all backed to win, a nicely profitable day! :)

I like the look of Silviniaco Conti in the big race, just worried that it will not get the trip but worth a EW bet

Here"s my day (so far)

Our Conor - I know one of the owners from poker in Ireland and most of the Irish poker world is on this horse.

Tennis Cap

Utopie Des Bordes

Long Run - been on this one with a while

Chapoturgeon

Cottage Oak

Gevrey  Chambertin

Make Your Mark

Black Benny - this one"s a "for the laugh" bet with odds to prove it.

I only bet each way at cheltenham dependent on form and runners and it went horrendous. Placed in all the last 3 races only to recoup half my losses
