Let"s go :)

Note to my backers:

In the opening post I added a "rule":
"Tournaments played within the "APAT bankroll" will be announced in this thread; announcement will be done before the tournament starts or within 10 minutes after registering. Posts with these announcements will not be modified or edited in any way!"

The reason for posting this is to avoid any discussion that may arise in the following situation:
Together with 2 friends we agreed to play a few tournaments together and analyse everyone"s hand histories afterwards. It will only be larger field tournaments and to reduce variance we are going to share the buyins/profits.

So to avoid any discussion I want to make everything clear in advance.

Most tournaments I"m playing here are smaller field non NLH games or lower buyin rebuys; and with my friends we will be playing a number of big field MTT"s (big $11, big $5,50 and a few MM events)... so most of those last series of tournaments I wouldn"t play anyway with the APAT bankroll. Also for now, it would only be for a very limited number of tournaments.

Please let me know if anyone objects...  you can always take back your share.
(or when everybody objects, I will cancel the agreement with my friends)

Unbelievable... In the Courchevel I had 40k with 14k avg; Lost PFAI when going in with trips and on the river he spikes his flush. 20k left. PFAI again with trips; same guy rivers a straight.

Pretty much chiplead when I win those pots.

Here we go again.

Luck doesn"t seem to turn.

Out in PLO when missing all draws; KO out 3 outside the money...flush and straight draw again wasn"t good enough.
When will it turn around? :"(

because it"s so extremely busy at work and also a lot to do in the house here; I have very little time to play for the moment.
And I only want to play when I"ve got enough time to play concentrated.

I won"t give this up of course, but it"s on a very low level for the moment. If you want to take out your money for that reason, please let me know... I would understand if that"s the case!

Tom

Pfff, out in PLO... all in after the flop with 2 pair against AAxx... good read but board pairs in the turn. That"s PLO of course.

But then in the SnG, monster pot for chiplead with 45 or so remaining. AK vs AQ vs JJ. Flop is an A... river a Q. F***

Yeah me too... But we"ll have to wait.

Good start, 25k with 8k avg. Then AA cracked vs 53... why he was in there after a hefty raise and reraise, I have no clue... but they were suited :p

And then AK vs KK vs QQ and out in 18k place or so. Not a good start...

Better rungood next weekend!

Bankroll = $1444.19

Thx guys, I know it will come!!

On a side note... 2014 is around the corner, and I made myself a promise to play an avg of 6-8 MTT"s a week, spread on Stars and BWin.

Since a few guys backed out of the staking deal (I didn"t play for a while, so that is of course understandable!!--- they did receive a +/- 50% profit), I"m looking to sell a few more %...

I currently own 80% of this BR myself, but I would like to get that down a little... I messaged my previous backers to ask if they would be interested again, so hopefully a few % goes back there.

But if someone reading this is interested, please let me know if you want a few %.

BR now is $1.432,44... 5% = $71,62... 10% = $143,24
Transfer to DodgyEnd on Stars

Cheers and best wishes for everyone!

Will be playing a small schedule today (have to get up early tomorrow, so no big tournaments):

17:25   Stars   $3,30 HORSE
17:35   Stars   $16,50 PLO
18:05   Stars   $8,80 NL Courchevel H/L
18:05   Stars   Omania $33 Sat: $6,60 PLO (turbo)

but that has been going very well so far... been top 5 of the leaderboard for pretty much the entire tournament. 3/36 right now, with 32 ITM.

Still a long way to go of course; but feeling good!

Total buyins today = $35,20

Small schedule... last week my son was sick and couldn"t play; this week my pregnant wife is sick.
Am playing tonight, but only a few tournaments.

Played 2 qualifiers, but didn"t win a seat ($11 Sunday Million turbo qualifier and $8 sat for the Omania $33).

$3,30+R PLO on Stars just started; and also the $7,500 Gtd Deepstack on BWin.
In that last tournament, someone rivered a flush against my set, so less than half a stack left. But that"s still 35 BBs so nothing lost :p

Ok guys, sorry about the silence last week... but my wife is 8 months pregnant and not everything is going as it should.
I had to abort last weekend"s tournaments because of her feeling unwell; I"m not going to count those of course.

Today a fresh schedule:
18:05   Stars   $8,80 NL Courchevel H/L ($750 Gtd)
18:05   Stars   Omania $33 Sat: $6,60 Turbo PLO
18:15   Stars   $11 NLH ($3k Gtd)
18:15   Stars   $8,80 NLH (6-max, 500 cap ($3k Gtd)
18:15   BWin   $7,500 Gtd Deepstack (buyin $20)

Total buyins: $55,20

might add something else later on...

adding:
18:50   BWin   $1,500 Gtd Turbo (buyin $5)

Disappointing night...

In all 3, managed to build a stack early on, but then couldn"t continue. Either card dead or at a table with all big stacks or a combination of that. Unibet got 14th place with 12 ITM. yuck...

Managed to mincash the MicroMillions main event to give us a small profit tonight.

Bankroll is now at $1.477,22.

Better luck next week!

Hey Kev,

I pretty much like the new software... In Belgium we only have a few available rooms and besides BWin and Stars, Unibet is the only decent room so we have no chouice but to download and play :)

But yeah, I like it and the level is not that high. Strange things happen sometimes, but if you can live with the frustation that crappy hands get there at times, then it"s a good place to play :)

All the tables are 6-handed, so no choices there... also for cash games there is no table selection possible. But I like the software and the idea behind it!

no cashes, not even a bounty. I felt very well and my instinct was right a few times, but I just didn"t execute the way I should... It"s a good feeling to know I was right a few times, but disappointed I didn"t act on it. A lesson for next time.

And the PLO Zoom was terrible, every monster draw didn"t get there, and every good flop was countered on turn or river. That"s PLO of course. Better next time.

Mincash in the $5k for 8$ and won a seat for Pokerfest 13, which is a $15,000 Gtd Turbo tournament with a $50 buyin.

Didn"t cash in the other tournaments; especially the PLO was brutal... rebuying a couple of times when losing my stack when I went in ahead. Total buyin there was 5,50$ (1$ buyin + 5 90c rebuys).

New bankroll: $1.406,17 + Ticket Pokerfest 13 (starts at 21:45).

You"re not anymore I"m afraid... you took back during my short "break".

You and ooblio took back your 5%; Leigh did as well but reinvested his share.
(check pages 5 and 6 of this thread)

So the bankroll is divided as follows:
Leigh 20%
Adi 10%
Rodders 10%
DodgyEnd 60%

I don"t mind dropping back my share to 50%, so if you feel to buy a few % again, please let me know. Your previous 5% would now be worth $70,55 if you"re interested.

I"ll change the opening post to avoid any misunderstanding.

Not my day... been playing a few tournaments. 3 out of 7 in the money, but no deep runs and no cashes in the bigger buyins. Lost all flips or 60/40s when it mattered, so nothing you can.

Omania $5,50: 34th for $17,97
$3,30 Razz: no cash
MM40 6-max: 1382nd for $11,60
MM41 Progressive: 5725th + 1 bounty for a total of $4,85

Played a couple of tournaments yesterday:

BWIN:
$250 Gtd 6-max PLO ($5 buyin) => no cash
$200k Sat 40 Seat Frenzy ($20 buyin) => won a seat, playing tonight
$5k Gtd Hyper Rebuy ($1, + took 1R and 1A) => cashed 9,50$

Stars: $11 NLH Phase 1 => qualified for Phase 2 but small stack

Total bankroll: $1.426,31
  + Stars (17:25) $11 NLH Phase 2
  + BWIN (19:00) $200k Guaranteed

Tonight I will only be playing these 2 tournaments (plus 2 local tournies)
So bankroll can only go up tonight :)

follow up... cashed in both!

In Phase 2 I was very low in chips but doubled twice to reach the money... and then lost a flip. Cashed for $23,85
And in the 200k Gtd on BWIN I got 136th place for $460.

So that was a good weekend :)

Bankroll is now up to $1.910,16

Because of this good cash, I plan to play 1 or 2 $50-$55 tournaments in the next week or so...

While most of you guys are playing APAT Luton (Belgium in 2 weeks, yaay!!) I"m going to play some online games tonight. I said before I would play a few tournaments with a bigger buyin, tonight I"ll try a few:

(I noticed I didn"t update my last 2 sessions here; very sorry about that... I did update Leigh on FB so he can confirm that the current bankroll is $1.833,04.... I couldn"t convert the WPT Valkenburg Sat Ticket and then only mincashed 2 out of 7 or 8 tournaments)

Stars:
19:05 - Omania $33
19:05 - Big 162 Sat: $8,80+R Turbo
19:30 - WCOOP-03 Sat: $11 Deep
20:00 - The Big $55
21:25 - $11 NLH Phase 1

schedule changed a little bit... didn"t play the Big 55, but played 2 qualifiers for the 55 and the 33 omania.

Bad night though, only managed to bink a seat in the big 162, but unregistered for T$.

Total buyins was $125,80 and so cashed $162.

New bankroll: $1.869,24

OK guys, apologies for the long silence... Organizing APAT Belgium and the weeks after took a lot of my time... did play a few smaller comps to keep myself in the game, but I"ll restart my regular play in the next few days!
