It"s there or thereabouts Kev.... probably easier to ship in GBP in Stars though, and exact value is £36.52

You can have a stars account in dollars,pounds,euros,CAD Dollars also

Click on cashier and the add new currency,

once added currency (GBP) click on the GBP and the you can transfer $ to Pounds and go from there

Butchered that! A great opportunity to 3b pre, however a few hands before I had cold 4bet pre with JJ and had been called by KT, which got there and cost me a chunk. I think that was in my head when I flatted pre in this spot.

EDIT: So then I get KK and of course I do 3bet.... and he calls. I bet all streets, but have to fold when he leads big after an A hits the river.

Blinds are 1.25k/2.5k - card dead, and trying to force the issue, but getting caught out. No probs with my play so far - better to get caught trying than to just dribble away, right?

Gone disappointingly early in the PLO - flopped top two with ace blocker to nfd - check raised all in, and the guy had nothing but a 10 hi flush draw and snap called - of course he got there.

Three more levels to play today. I won"t survive without at least one double up. Have been card dead and spot dead for ages now, other than one hand when I min-raised KK utg, and managed to steal the blinds.

End of day 1a, we have a stack of 118k, avg is 116k. Reasonably happy with that.  Blinds when we return are 1.5k/3k

Day 1a had 3222 runners, with 554 surviving, and we are placed 221st.

Day 2 starts on Wednesday night at 7pm (and if we get further, day 3 is on Thursday evening)

The stake package progress so far is as follows:

Turned my 118k into 66k with three failed hands in the first orbit (88,88,KT), then got a double up with TT v 77, then lost a race against a shorty and now on 82k

Blinds 3k/6k/a820 - need to make a move soon, but think I will wait to secure a payout if I can before getting frisky

I"ve started issuing transfers back to stakers, but have run into an issue with max deposit for Pokerstars. I"ve been able to cover most of the transfers, but will be delayed until tomorrow.
