Hi!
Could you confirm that Day 2 will begin at 2 p.m. and not 1 p.m. as said in Day 1A? Thank you.
YES! Since the casino advertised a 14:00 start, it will be 14:00
-
And we already lost 2 players within the first 5 minutes of play
Joris Miehle and Lieven Lehembre both shortstacks with less than 30k of chips.
-
Nigel takes down a pot
We pick it up at the flop 5s 3s 5h when Nigel bets out 8k and gets called
Turn: 3d and Nigel pushes his stack across the line. His opponent openfolds AKo
-
As expected, eliminations are fast early on.
We lost Kim Swartenbroeckx and Nikolaos Kalitsojnakis.
Nikolaos got his stack in the middle on a K55 flop with K6.
Violette Wang called with A5.
Another 5 on the turn sealed his faith and Violetta is now up to 110k.
-
Fredje (WVLFreepoker) find in his first hand KK.....I did not see the hand, but he wins 10k!
-
We lose Eric Chevalot and Philippe Rimunicci
-
Didier Mazairac wins a 3 way allin at the features table and he"s off to a very good start of the day
Players eliminated at his table: Wim Van Pee and Jan Vets;
He"s taking it down with Queens vs AJo and A9s when the board reads TK29J
-
Eliminations are faster than we can follow. Nicolas Daune also out on table 3.
-
Jerry is out... Omer raises preflop and Jerry on the button raises all in for 20k. Omer makes an easy call with QQ.
Jerry has 44... no help.
-
2 more players out:
J Zwartenbroeckx
Sebastien Salama
-
52 players left, 78.173 average
-
Patrick Prijot and Jonathan Ganty out as well...
-
Klaus Lange and Mickael Delcorps are out. About 48 left now I think.
Play will start to slow down a little as we are edging towards the money.
We just saw An Blieck shove her shortstack and she picked up the blinds.
-
As play slows down, we will try to get a few estimated chipcounts.
Nigel seems to be playing a 100k stack right now...
-
46 left, ten untill we reach the money
Players out recently JF Van Overshee and Violette Wang
-
And we loose Geert Sluys. He held 6"es and the flop comes 578. Geert puts it in but his opponent already made a straight with 46. His own remark "should have put it in prefflop :("
-
Thierry De Quick minraised to 6000. An Blieck reraised all in for 15k more.
Thierry asked if An wanted a call but she didn"t answer. Thierry folded, sixes he says...
-
Jordane Pierrart is out...
-
41 left, 5 to go
Jazz from Pokerbelgique must throw away preflop. He raised to 18k but got reraised with an allin for 42.1k. He folds and the allin showed Queens
-
40 left we lost one more.
Guy Baete picks up one preflop when allin and having his opponent to fold. Guy shows Ak after his neighbour openfolded KQo
We loose Serge Lenaerts by the way
-
39 !!!
Preflop action with Pietquin and The sheriff
Sheriff called 4k preflop, Pitquin goes to 14k and his neighbour pushes for 57.6 k, sheriff folds but keeps his hand aside to show. Pietquin thinks it over but decides folding is a better thing to do. Sheriff shows 66.
-
38
and two women left, We loose Cindy van Eisende
Only left with 3.2k her k2 doesn"t make a stand...
-
I think I made a mistake - An Blieck is the last woman standing. One lady left
WVLFreepoker does have good female players apparantly. She"s shortstacked though.
-
And we"re in Hand for hand mode.
Frederik Vanghillewe doesn"t make it to the money. He blinded out and his final had goes against Kings.
He spikes a 5 on the flop with his 57o but no further help there.
-
And we"re in the money.
Unfortunately we loose our last woman.
An Blieck is allin in the big blid versus Pietquin.
Pietquin holds aces and An only K8o
Board: 5 6 J 3 K
Congratulations to all 36 players who are left.
-
Dealers are doing a chiprace during the break, so we are unable to get exact chipcounts of the 36 players left.
Upon leaving the tournament area we catched up with a few players to ask them about their stacks:
Guy Baete - 90k
Niki Raskin - 40k
Dion Van Tongeren - 120k
Omer Aydin - 60k
Didier Mazairac - 260k
Nigel Rantor - 222k
Stijn Cornelis - 104k
Tom Deschuytter - 135k
Marc Vandorpe - 128k
We"ll try to get some more to have an idea of possible chipleaders. Didier will be close with his 260k, although Sebastien Naud seems to be play a bit more than that for the moment.
-
We"re way off, Sebastien Naud is playing 334.000 and looks to be our chipleader for the moment.
With blinds at 3000/6000 and players in position 28-36 getting paid the same, we can expect a lot of action!

UTG raises 32k (blinds 8k/16k)
Sebastian Osorio reraises to 95k.
Gilles calls all in on the SB (he has 40k)
UTG folds AJ.

And shortstack Gilles is gone.

Dion Van Tongeren was short and shoved his 140k stack, but he was in trouble when his K6 was called by 88.
However the K64 flop gave him the lead; the river even improved him to a full house.
He is back above 300k.

Bert Liekens gives 190 to Maarten Westbroek.
allin preflop by Bert with 77 and Maarten calls him with ATo
T is the window card and no further help for Bert so he looses quite a bit of his stack
-
-
-
A few interesting hands:
Ruben Tack raises preflop to 125k but Stijn Cornelis goes allin. Ruben sighs and folds while Stijn shows his aces.
Averag isn"t that huge (10 BB) so hardly any plays are made. It"s mostly all-in fold
The next hand Bert moves allin on Artan"s completion.
We see a showdown when Artan shoves allin and Sebastian is calling while being behind:
Artan: Ah 6c
Sebastien: Ac 3h
The board runs 2c Td 6c 7h 2s
Chips move from one to another.
