Sheriff gives a bit away on a flush board.

Action on the flop Ad Kd Qd end three players check including Sheriff

Turn 2d. SB and BB check it and Sheriff bets 2.5k with only a call by the BB.
River 6d and they both check again.
BB shows the 8d and takes the pot. Thierry "Sheriff" De Quick nodds his head in disbelief.

Danny Jans is allin twice in a row. Both times no action.
He adds some to his stack each time.

Chipleader Ilkay Multu just knocked out Stany Sommen.

We see the action on the river where Stany calls Ilkay"s all in bet on a 84JKJ board.
Stany"s QQ is not good against Ilkay"s set of eights.

Stany is out and Ilkay now nears the 200k-mark.

Dennis Peskens doubles up to +/- 45.000.

Preflop all in, his tens win a race against Sonny"s AK.

Gregory Godyne, the United 19 player looses most of his stack to Frederic Pierard

The action gets picked up at Ac 7d Qc when Frederic bets 11000. Gregory makes the call.

Turn 5c and Fredric with QQ. Gregory"s AT is no good and Frederic even improves his hand to a full house.

Glad we have eyes on our backs since at the same time Niki Raskin doubles with KK vs AQ. Board KQ567.

Niki plays some 50k now.

Niki Raskin adds to his stack again!

Again with KK he is all in against Philippe De Jongh"s QQ.

No help for the queens and Niki plays 70k!

We also lost Vicky Vandriesche, who can"t hit with 77 against someone"s Aces.
That leaves 2 women in the field; 1 of them is An Blieck, who last time in Namur was the last women standing, unfortunately she bubbled back then.

We are down to 42 players, with an average stack of 63.214 and blinds 800/1600-150

Ilkay Multu"s table was broken and is moved to Table 14... this certainly is the table with most of the chips, with Thierry De Quick, Bart Helsen and Aliosha Staes who are all well above 100.000!!

Tom Deschuyter doubles up on the river.

Tom is allin preflop and gets a call from his neighbour.

Tom 8h 8c
Neighbour: Ad  10s

Board: Js  10s Kc 3c Qc -> Tom doubles to a little over 60k with an avg of 69.9k !!!

We"re playing level 12 at 800/1600 Ante 150.

BWIN qualifier Cliff Wens just doubled up.

In a race with 77 vs Hans Janssens"s AQ, the Q5K isn"t in his favor, but with 2 diamonds on board, and a diamond turn... it is never over.

River is another diamond and Cliff doubles up! He is back to 60.000.

38 players still in, blinds about to go up to 1000/2000-200
Average stack is 69.868

An Blieck is out in 38th place.

UTG+1 with less than 5 BB"s remaining, she shoves pocket deuces.

The big blind calls with QJ.

Flop contains a Q, no further help for An.

She is out, with "Polin" now being the last woman.

We have to lose 10 more players and play has slowed down extremely the past half hour.

36 left.nine to go and we"re ITM.

Sheriff vs Janssens preflop action.

Sheriff limps in first position for 2k and Janssens makes it 6.6k. All fold and Thierry raises to 22k.

Janssens shows me and the table Kd Qd and folds. Thierry shows the ace of that suit and quickly flips his cards and show a second ace.

Robert-Jan Hoogendoorn just lost his entire 100k stack to Arie Groen.

With top pair and flush draw on the turn, he decides to gamble.

With As 6s on a K 5s 6 board, he calls Arie"s cbet.

On the Qs board Arie bets small, Robert-Jan decides to reraise.
Arie goes all and gets a call.

Robert-Jan needs a spade or a 6, but river blanks.

Arie has +/- 260.000 chips, and that will possibly be good for the chiplead.
During the break (in 15 minutes) we"ll get you an updated chipcount.

Big Stack vs Big Stack

Ilkay Multu vs Aliosha Staes

Ilkay bet preflop 15k and Aliosha raises him to 34k
Ilkay is thinking and announces he"s allin and get"s a call immediately.

Ilkay shows JJ
Aliosha KK

QQ779 and Ilkay looses 105k to Aliosha who"s playing 215000 at the moment.
While on our way to post this hand we pass Sheriff De Quick and he mentions QUICKly he has 210000. When they both would clash it get"s interesting.

With 32 left in the field, Aliosha Staes is clearly in the lead.

This online tournament grinder is playing 327.000, well more than his fellow "Poker Invest" player Thierry De Quick with 189.000. And both players are seated at the same table!

Arie Groen (176.400) and Marcel Schweigert (153.000) have very decent stacks as well!

Chipleader at the start of day, Ilkay Multu, is down to 71.000, giving big part of his stack to Aliosha Staes.

Our Red Jacks player Yves Bormans is one of the shortstacks with 35.700, but that"s an easy game for him: push or fold!

We need to lose 5 more players before the money, so play will be slow...

Yves Bormans, of The Red Jacks Poker Team, is out in 31st.

From the CO Arie makes a small raise.
Yves on the button raises all in for 9 big blinds.

The blinds fold and Arie makes the call with AJ.

Yves has QT but gets no help on the board.

3 players to go before we reach the money

And we loose one in 21st.

Jean-Paul De Brouwer loses his kings to Bresselaers.

Preflop we have a raise from Bresselaers to 15000 and a call by our quick Sheriff.
De Brouwer raises to 48000 and Bresselaers pushes for a total of 129k.

Sheriff moves out of the way but De Brouwer calls immediately with Kings.

Bresselaers pushed it in with 8"s and the window card shows an ..... 8 ! The board runs dry and we loose one more.

Next payjump is at 18 by the way and we"re down to 20 !

Sheriff in the CO and Marcel Schweigert on the button see a 3 4 K flop.

Sheriff cbets 15000 and Marcel calls.

On the 3 turn, both players check.

The river is a 4 and Sheriff moves all in for 125.000.

Marcel tanks for a while, but decides to fold.

Sheriff slowly shows a 2.... and after three seconds he shows another 2.

Sheriff is still in town and doing well... Is he on his way to back-to-back final tables?

In the field we have 3 players who can make a serious run for the Player of the Year 2014 title.

In top position we have Niki Raskin, with 18 points and currently in 5th place. He is only 5 points behind the lead and with a Final Table tonight he might seal the race already. (remember: the online events next Sunday are the last ones to count for the ranking!)

The other 2 are Thierry De Quick (9 points) and Tom Deschuytter (8 points), but they will at least need a top 3 finish to take the lead.

No final table for Aliosha Staes.

First he looses Kings to Jacks. The flop comes with a gutshot Dennis Peskens" Jacks and that gutshot arrives immediately on the turn.

Aliosha was left with just an ante which he takes down the next hand.

It"s all over when he doesn"t hit the board with KJs. Bert Neels" deuce does hit and Aliosha is out.

And again no deal.

Marcel Schweiger who didn"t got involded in discussing the previous deal isn"t happy with the new deal now so we play.

Nikki announces he won"t make another deal since he doesn"t want to recount every hand.
This means we should play untill the final.

Niki ending in second also seals our 2014 player of the year ranking. He scores at least 17 points and only Tom can even his score if he wins both events next sunday. But at an even score the live points are taken in account first and that means that Niki will represent Belgium at this year"s WCOAP in the Team Event !!!
