First 6 levels have been played and we lost a few players such as Heidi Croonenborghs and Tom Slikboer. This means his focus can go back to some reporting and taking pictures here and there.
Yes indeed Tom Slikboer !!!! Tom and I decided to play this side event to boost the number of entrants. We have 47 players in total.
I myself is still in with 9850 from a 10000 starting stack.... having fun teaching some dutchies a few french words...

2 of our previous champions, "Lip Flipper" and Salvatore Alessi, have just been eliminated.
16 left with an average of 31.250 and blinds of 1.000/2.000 (300)
In short succession, Niki won 3 bounties... he is still going strong and aiming to add some points to his lead in this year"s POTY ranking.
-
And back after a 15-minute break.
With the fast paced blinds, we will probably reach a final table very soon. Right now we have 14 players left, but some short stacks hanging on.
We will give you updated chip counts when we reach the final 9.

We lose Christoff Gebruers in 14th place.
Christoff is in 1st position, raises 6.3k (blinds 1500-3000 A: 400) and only gets called by the SB...
Flop 5K8 with 2 hearts.
SB checks
Christoff all in and SB calls.
Christoff has Aces and SB is on a flush draw.
Turn gives SB a straight draw... River is the brutal Ace of hearts...
-
Damned - played it very well this tournament.
SB player said when winning "I was defending my blind"...... huh?

Efendi is out in 10th place. He shoves JJ into Koen"s AK.
Board runs out A3642 and Koen is up to 150k.
2 hands later, we see Jaoid go all in; Michael in the BB calls.
Michael"s AQ wins the raise against 99. He has 100 chips more than Jaoid and wins the bounty.
Jaoid is out in 9th.
-
-
We are on the bubble when Barjan gets eliminated in 8th place.
He is all in with QT vs Giuseppe"s KQ... no help on the board.
-

-

And Michael does it again against Koen this time:

The board runs low again: 5 2 2 4 A
Michael takes 77K from Koen who is left with about 15k
He"s allin on the BB

Today"s Runner Up Bjorn Anthonis now has 15 points and is in 21st place.
