Frankly David...it"ll probably be a death-match.

Players exiting already and Lucy is capturing some details...
-
We have our first exit.
Betting is unknown but:

Flop - 5h 2s Ad
No change with the Qc turn or the 10s river and all the chips wound up in the middle making Gregory Barbour first man down.
-
Thomas Kirton-Vaughan finds Kh Kc and sees a flop of Ad Js 10h and pushes all in - only to be called by Ac Js and he doesn"t improve and exits
-
A little flurry of exits:
Thomas Kirton-Vaughan
David Meighan

but then on the way back Lucy and I walked past this place...
Would have been rude not to...!

Chip count for Carl please. I"m hoping he learnt something from Thursday"s tutorial.
Carl is on 22,800, not sure he learnt anything transferable from Thursday"s carnage...
I did learn you lot from Stockton are pi$$ heads!!
Excuse me?
Not all of the local contingent were drunk you know.
Eh? what? I don"t get it.
Please explain how this unacceptable situation happened. Really this is not upholding the ethos of The Stockton Massive at all. Stu will be reprimanding you all very soon I am told.
Stu had my share of drunkenness as well as his own. It averages out that we were all drunk.

First exit of the day:
Calum Macleod finds Kd Ks under the gun and the raise to 3,100 goes in. It is called in the bb by Conghai Wang
We see a flop of 6d 5d 5s
Conghai checks and Calum moves all in.
Conghai calls and shows 4c 5c
The turn and river of 8c 9c meant no improvement for kings and our first exit of the day.
-
While updating, we lost Gary Purcell, exit hand unkown.
Elsewhere, Damian Minnis" Qd 4h ran into Samuel Jospeh Smith"s 7s 7c
The board of 8h 5h Kd 5d 3h was no help and Damian is also out.
-
Andy Whiteford with 9h 9s took on Gordon Robert Marshall"s Kd Qd
There was a rollercoaster Kc 7s 9d flop
Followed by a 5d to even the odds slightly
But the Js river means that Gordon Robert Marshall has finished in 41st place
-
We quickly lose Anthony Gilchrist...
and Steve Miller...
whilst Dennis Kennedy gets it all in on the Turn with Board 4c 10d 5d Ks with Ad 9d, and after a long think he gets called by A s Kc
River 3c
and Dennis misses his flush to depart in 38th place...
-
In fairly quick succession, we lose Dominic Crolla, Stephen Barr (he did not return for Day 2 and was blinded out), John Peebles and Peter Dick.
Meanwhile, Ross Fullarton"s Kc Kd took on the Ac 7d of Robbie Dalgleish
The board runs out 6h Ah 3c 5s 6d and Ross is eliminated in 33rd place.
-
Marco Erasmo Crespo departs in 32nd spot getting it all in with 7h 10h against
Tom Noble"s Qd Qc on a Board 2d Ah 9s 5c 5d
--------------------
whilst on another table Kyle Pullicino gets it all in with 10d Jc against Andrew Grant"s 9s 9c
Board 6s Kh 3d Qs 5c and Kyle departs in 31st
--------------
whilst on table 1 Blair Barr is All In Pre Flop holding Kh Qc and is called by Conghai Wang holding Js Jc
Board comes 7c 6d 9s 6c 7h and Blair departs in 30th
-
Main Event is now on L12 Blinds 800/1600/200 with 29 players remaining on average stack of 69,300 - just over an average of 40 BBs each.
Our side event - £25+£5 PLO 15k stack 30 min clock (late entry 90 mins) kicks off with 30 players...
-
Craig Smith 2d 2h moves all in on a flop of 2c 6d 10c
He is called by Michael Meighan holding 7c 9c
The 3c turn meant Michael took the lead.
The Ac on the river sealed it and Craig Smith is out in 29th place.
-
Another exit
Scott Henderson puts it all in pre flop with Qd Qc
He is called by Tom Noble holding Kh Kd
No miracle for Scott as the board runs out 8d 9d 2c 7s 6h and he finishes in 28th.
-
Gregory Balbour finishes in 27th place.
Then we see Christopher Park"s shove with Kd Js called by Qd Qh
The flop of A s 3h 6c brings no help to Christopher
A turn of Qc leaves him drawing almost dead and the Ks on the river was of little comfort and no use as we see Christopher Park finish in 26th place.
-
On L13 with 35 mins left blinds are 1k/2k/300 with average stack 77,300
Michael Meighan has Rhys Silverstein covered who is all in pre flop with 10d 10h - Michael has Ks Kh
Board 3c Ac A s Js 2h
and Rhys departs in 25th
-
Gordon Robertson gets in all in pre flop and is called by George Dick and Tom Noble
Flop 3d 7s 4h and George bets out and Tom folds - Turn and River - and the Board overall don"t help Gordon and George knocks him out in 24th spot
-
John Mcconville finds Ad Js and puts it all in
He is called by Sebastian Mikolajczyk with Jc Jd
A board of 4s 3h 9s 7h 6c means that John is out in 23rd place.
-
In other news what happened to the 15k SS in the PLO? Paid my ££ sat down as was surprised to see only 10k.. Advertised on OT as 15k :(
-
An interesting hand in the main event.
A series of raises and re-raises sees Tomasz Marcin Waliszewski push all in from late position.
After a long think, the button folds.
Much more quickly, the others fold round and leave Shoib Gulamhussein to make the decision.
He calls and they flip.
Tomasz tables Qc Qh
Shoib tables Jd Jc
The flop comes Ks 3s Qs making Tomasz a massive favourite to double up.
The turn brings the 10h and swings the odds a little with an up and down straight draw for Shoib.
The river of 9h sees the straight and swing complete and sends Tomasz Marcin Waliszewski to the rail in 22nd place.
-
Sebastian Mikolajczyk pushes with Ah 10c
Called by Liam Spence with Qh Qs
The board runs out 5s 2d 7d 4d 9c and is no help sending Sebastion out in 21st place.
-
Not long after, we see Samuel Joseph Smith ship it all with A s Kc
He gets called by Andrew Wilson with Kh Kd
The flop brings 9s 4h 6h
The turn is the 10c
And the river seals it with the 8c and we lose Samuel in 20th place.
-
The third in fairly quick succession is Danielle Paterson who moves all her chips in with Ah 9d
She is called by Liam Spence with Ad 7c
The flop comes over 2h 5h 7d to make Liam the favourite with Danielle needing a 9
The turn is the 3s and the river is the 7h meaning that Danielle Paterson finishes in 19th place.
-
In other news what happened to the 15k SS in the PLO? Paid my ££ sat down as was surprised to see only 10k.. Advertised on OT as 15k :(
Thanks for highlighting this Carl - bit of confusion with starting stack - yes it should have been 15k - we can"t do anything retrospectively, although could have when the event started if we"d known, but we"ve extended the clock from 30 min to 40 min to try and compensate for the lesser starting stack than advertised.
-
We appear to have lost a player who has taken their card with them so their name is as yet unknown.
To clarify, this is a list of remaining players in the Main Event:
Stephen Waugh
George Dick
Shoib Gulamhussein
Andrew Wilson
Conghai Wang
Tom Noble
Robbie Dalgleish
Andrew Peter T Grant
Andy Whiteford
Thomas Clark
Liam Spence
David James Clarke
Michael Meighan
Nicki Seton
Brian Morrisson
Neil Feenan
Judith Davidson
Gary John Gallacher
meaning we have 18 players remaining on 2 tables with an average of 125,600.
-
Neil Feenan ships his short stack in with Qd 8h and is called by Tom Clark with 9h 5c - all pre flop
Board 5s 2h Jh 7h 2c and Neil departs in 18th
-
All in pre-flop we see Robbie Dalgleish go up against George Dick.
Robbie has 7c 7h
George has Ac Kc
The flop changes things as it brings 9c Qd Ks
The Qh turn and Jc river mean that we lose Robbie Dalgleish in 17th place.
-
Coming back from the break starting L15 2k/4k/500 16 players remain with average stack 125k:
Stephen Waugh 74k
George Dick 275k
Shoib Gulamhussein 320k

Hang in there Tom Clark !

A lot of the card icons appear to have mutated into odd signs and symbols on my iPad. Is that just me ?
Updates reflecting a fast pace to the main event today.

Think it"s just Lucy"s accent David ;)
-
Andrew Peter T Grant pushes and gets a call from Conghai Wang.
Andrew has Ac 3c
Conghai has 10d 10s
A very interesting flop of 6c Jc 4s brings hope to Andrew with a flush draw and straight possibilities.
The turn 3s takes the straight option out but adds other outs
The river did not want to help and the 10h sees Conghai make a set and sends Andrew to the rail in 16th place.
We are hand for hand now as we are on the money bubble - good luck to all.
-
The very next hand sees David James Clarke create some debate and thinking. He pushes all in after a raise by Nicki Seton and is flat called by the significantly larger stack of Liam Spence. After much thought, Nicki folds.
David shows Jc Jd
Liam shows Ks Kh
The flop leaves David wanting as it falls 5c Ks 7s - he needs running clubs to avoid being the bubble boy...
The 3h on the turn leaves him drawing dead and the A s on the river is irrelevant, David is sent to the rail in 15th place.
The remaining players are all in the money, congratulations to them :)
-
Having just doubled up to 44k, Judith Davidson ships it all in with 9s 9h against Tom Clark"s Qd Ks
Flop 5d 5s 2s and Tom stands up...
Turn 7d
River Qs
Tom scoops and sends Judith to the Rail in 14 spot for a min cash of £150
-

And we have our final table in the Main Event!!
All the chips go in pr-flop
Gary John Gallacher with 9h 10h

Very well done to Tommy, tangled with him since the start of Day 1 and a thoroughly deserved winner. Wish I had ran a bit better but pleased with how I played on the whole. And a great job done by Tom and Lucy all weekend as well as the cardroom staff.

There a gallery slideshow in the very first post of the updates...is that what you meant?
Other than that, try here (https://picasaweb.google.com/www.apat.com)

Cheers for the link Paulie. Yeah, I know it says photos and update on the first page but for some reason iv got a blanc space between that and the seat draw, wasn"t sure if it was an error of some sort or just my Laptop.

Below are listed the full results from Edinburgh - thanks to all those who took part, and huge congrats to the Main Event Championship Medal Winners.
Also thanks to Lucy Amos on her first updating/blogging for APAT - and again, the Genting Fountainpark staff who could not do enough to accommodate us.
