I realise their many different needs and no doubt hundreds of considerations , but to not have any events in London ( I"m not counting Luton as London ) is a real shame .
It would seem on the face of it that Belgiium seems more important than London !
Apologises if this is out of turn , or more events are forthcoming , but on the face of it I"m disappointed :-(
Although I understand some of the reasons behind it I must express my disappointment that other than WCOAP the entire UK APAT schedule is now NLHE only.
Extending the range of poker variants available to be played in casinos used to be, as I recall, one of the goals of APAT...I, for one, am very sorry to see that left behind.
Sundays will be the poorer for it...IMO.
Nice schedule guys as always :D..
Highlight will be Vegas!!.. Finally managed for Emma to agree to a trip there, albeit I had to propose to her!"
We will be having our wedding in Vegas next June to coincide with the APAT leg, we would love to see some of you there for the celebrations, all welcome to come see me say GG to bachelorhood..

Very much appreciate and respect your comments. We"ve been to London for the past three seasons, so it"ll miss a season, but we will be back in S11 with something big, I"ve no doubt. That aside, we do have Luton and Portsmouth in the South this season and it is the nature of the tour, that a bit of travel enriches the experience from time to time.

Personally speaking I"ve only been with APAT for two seasons and unlike the old / retired brigade I have to work for a living and include within this long work hours . I would like nothing more than to take weekends off and travel the UK playing poker but neither work nor the family would allow this :-(
Shame the anniversary year isn"t considering London and surely one of the best poker rooms in the UK at the Vic couldn"t have been considered !! But hey ho will wonder what might have been and to echo other comments re only holdem being the choice .... Shame !!

The more I keep reading through the Season 10 Schedule the more I love it. Happy Anniversary APAT.

Agree with this. Not having the "traditional" side events at all is a real shame.

Yeah, but, Vegas baby!
I"m already going to Vegas in November this year :) Vegas for the 10th anniversary is a huge carrot but it"s a shame the side events miss out as I found them an integral part of an APAT weekend if you bust Day 1. That being said, the plans for the online games through Grosvenor looks excellent so I"ll support most if not all of those.

This wasn"t in the main announcement, but it"s mentioned in the Newcastle briefing.
My understanding is that this will be standard for the UK legs for S10. Hopefully, normal service will be resumed next year.
Hmmm, not sure how this will work if I win multiple Vegas packages. ;D

On a serious note, is it possible to win more than one?
If you are lucky enough to win a package is there any incentive to try for another (to give a friend for example)? or would it be wasted?
Sigh, timings so bad for me this year.
Newcastle/Luton clash with my travel to/from WSOP.
Belgium clashes with a birthday weekend.
Can do Cardiff.
Dublin is a Sunday/Monday and don"t have any work days off left.
Belgium 2 clashes with Vegas trip that is planned.
Can do Portsmouth.
Not sure about Edinburgh.
Will be in Blackpool.
Manchester is my birthday so definitely there!

To be fair, you haven"t actually answered my question Leigh ;D
Been researching my trips for season 10, a word of advice for anyone planning to attend the Edinburgh event, Scotland are playing Ireland at Murrayfield the same weekend so rooms and transport will be at premium prices as I have already found, so I would advise early booking if possible.
When the tour comes to Portsmouth in November, will it be just the two day £75 event or will there be side events as well?
