Too much to take in! I"ll have to spend some time reading it all through carefully tomorrow and that goes for the WCOAP as well.

Like the Day 1a on the first Sunday idea, clever thinking that should help to increase numbers.

Looks very good, nice work guys. Great to have Grosvenor as main sponsors, their input looks to be huge.

Absolutely gutted though about the number of weekends I"ll have to miss due to prior commitments, it"s almost as if you"ve been peeking in my diary.

After the recent polls and discussions, what will the buy ins be for wcoap? - NM, just found it

Congratulations on a very ambitious and excellent schedule.

Moving of the Team Event to Blackpool is the highlight to me from a personal point of view and a March date is far better as the donkey season is just starting then!!!

Good luck for it all and see you at the G in Newcastle soon!!

I realise their many different needs and no doubt hundreds of considerations , but to not have any events in London ( I"m not counting Luton as London ) is a real shame .
It would seem on the face of it that Belgiium seems more important than London !
Apologises if this is out of turn , or more events are forthcoming , but on the face of it I"m disappointed :-(

Very much appreciate and respect your comments.  We"ve been to London for the past three seasons, so it"ll miss a season, but we will be back in S11 with something big, I"ve no doubt.  That aside, we do have Luton and Portsmouth in the South this season and it is the nature of the tour, that a bit of travel enriches the experience from time to time.

Great to have the Team Event back in Blackpool, scene of Edgworth Cricket Club"s glorious victory and obviously delighted to have the Worlds happening in Manchester too!  The Grosvenor sponsorship package looks really good.

Although I understand some of the reasons behind it I must express my disappointment that other than WCOAP the entire UK APAT schedule is now NLHE only.

Extending the range of poker variants available to be played in casinos used to be, as I recall, one of the goals of APAT...I, for one, am very sorry to see that left behind.

Sundays will be the poorer for it...IMO.

Good post, thanks Paulie.  With it being our anniversary year, for the first and possibly only time, we"re going to utilise those live slots to create opportunities for players to join an APAT party extravaganza in Las Vegas.  There wasn"t any other way we could do this, this season.

The more I keep reading through the Season 10 Schedule the more I love it.
Added GUKPT seats for the online series is just amazing, they are prestigious events in the UK calendar and I had already planned on trying to qualify for one or two of these again this year.

Wouldn"t it be a great experience to win a Vegas package and meet up over there celebrating together. Especially with the newlyweds Mr and Mrs Fandango  :) Big congratulations.
There seems to be a few routes to Vegas via APAT or Grosvenor in achieving this. I will certainly be having a go.
Hopefully it will be as mutually beneficial to Grosvenor as it is to APAT with added revenue in their Casinos and online, because the added value donated by Grosvenor looks like a generous package.  Great negotiating skills by Des and his Team.
I play regularly at Blackpool G and Manchester G. The staff are top notch. Very friendly and professional. If you haven"t been before you won"t be disappointed.

From a personal point of view I enjoy travelling around to play poker. Playing the GUKPT and playing a Las Vegas Bracelet Event are two things I would be striving to achieve anyway, and to top it off the WCOAP is at my local. This is a Dream Schedule for me.
Happy Anniversary APAT.

Personally speaking I"ve only been with APAT for two seasons and unlike the old / retired brigade I have to work for a living and include within this long work hours . I would like nothing more than to take weekends off and travel the UK playing poker but neither work nor the family would allow this :-(
Shame the anniversary year isn"t considering London and surely one of the best poker rooms in the UK at the Vic couldn"t have been considered !! But hey ho will wonder what might have been and to echo other comments re only holdem being the choice .... Shame !!

Everybody works for a living who plays APAT, including the management, and we all seem to be able to travel to participate for parts of the season.  It"s a national tour and if you need to have one on your doorstep, then fair enough - this season it"s not going to be for you.  Old / retired brigade indeed.

Hats off to Grosvenor - a £550 GUKPT seat added to each £22 online tourney is brilliant!!  Within APAT, online poker has always played second fiddle to live poker (and probably rightly so), but for some of us, online is pretty much our only option.

Nice to see some new locations, or returns to old locations that have been absent for a while, and love that WCOAP is outside London for a change.   Bit of a shame there are no midlands locations (love Coventry!), but guess the tour can"t visit every casino - would be a very long tour!

I"m already going to Vegas in November this year :)  Vegas for the 10th anniversary is a huge carrot but it"s a shame the side events miss out as I found them an integral part of an APAT weekend if you bust Day 1.  That being said, the plans for the online games through Grosvenor looks excellent so I"ll support most if not all of those.

Not often I can put a brag post up but here goes.
Having previously won a Vegas trip thanks to APAT I will certainly be trying to get another one. The experience of a freebie is second to none, GTD entry to Colossus also, amazing...
The schedule has been very good to me, most of the dates fall on my weekends off and the WCOAP being in Manchester means no booking expensive hotels if I don"t want to as only 30-40 minutes down the motorway from Liverpool.

To secure sponsorship with Grosvenor is amazing and this will definitely mean that I will play more of the online tournaments, just to try and bag a seat at the GUKPT.
Well done guys!!

On a serious note, is it possible to win more than one?
If you are lucky enough to win a package is there any incentive to try for another (to give a friend for example)? or would it be wasted?

We have a Vegas 2017 post which covers the flexibility for those who win a package...

be it the first or multiple this flexibility will remain...

Sigh, timings so bad for me this year.

Newcastle/Luton clash with my travel to/from WSOP.
Belgium clashes with a birthday weekend.
Can do Cardiff.
Dublin is a Sunday/Monday and don"t have any work days off left.
Belgium 2 clashes with Vegas trip that is planned.
Can do Portsmouth.
Not sure about Edinburgh.
Will be in Blackpool.

Manchester is my birthday so definitely there!

Hard to feel sorry for someone with two Vegas trips planned

Not like the first one is a holiday...plus after missing a couple of years and sorting my life out I was looking forward to hitting APAT hard and playing a lot of the events.

Looking forward to playing at Portsmouth this year, and hoping to make Cardiff again. Would also like to play one or two others if possible, but looks unlikely. Team event in Luton last season was great, so hopefully will make it to Blackpool and have another crack at that.
An added incentive of trying to qualify for Vegas this year, I"ve never been. Probably won"t get anywhere near, but you never know. Every donk has his day!  ;D

It"s the last Sunday before Luton. Satellites will be running every night up until Thursday, with direct buyin closing in the Grosvenor lobby at 2pm on Friday 8th July. Win your seat through the steps each night, and use your Step 4 token to buyin direct online. Save the hassle, guarantee your seat.

Been researching my trips for season 10, a word of advice for anyone planning to attend the Edinburgh event, Scotland are playing Ireland at Murrayfield the same weekend so rooms and transport will be at premium prices as I have already found, so I would advise early booking if possible.

Having carried on with my research it appears that the severn tunnel is shut for six weeks from September 12th, so travelling to Cardiff and back by train could be a longer journey than expected, Flybe have put on flights from London City during the work so I will be using this service instead, as an added bonus the hotels near the airport are considerably cheaper, and a bus runs from outside the airport to the Red Dragon centre (home of the casino) so all in all a good solution. Hope this info is useful to someone, see you there !

Travelodge by the Casino is currently £194 for 3 nights.

Could be worse....I pre-booked for £156 a couple of months ago.

Premier Inn Cardiff City South  - £160 for the same....only a few minutes cab ride.

Also some words of caution that the Maybury Casino is on the western edge of Edinburgh and about 5 miles from the city centre, although the bus that runs between the airport and the city centre stops at Maybury.  There"s also a  Marriott across the road from the casino.

When the tour comes to Portsmouth in November, will it be just the two day £75 event or will there be side events as well?

Hi Ben, in addition to the usual Main Event APAT are hosting a "Destination Vegas 2017" tournament on Sunday at 3pm... £75 buyin with 1 package to Las Vegas next June guaranteed (see http://www.apat.com/vegas/)... there will also be live Satellites in the casino on Saturday evening and Sunday from noon to 3pm £10 buyin for a seat in the 3pm event... and you can qualify for either (or both!) the Main Event and the Destination Vegas event online with APAT/Grosvenor... from 25p Satellites... see http://www.apat.com/grosvenor-poker/
