I"m very pleased to be able to announce that Linda Iwaniak and Brendan Byrne will captain an APAT Team each at the UK Team Championship to be held at the G Casino, Blackpool on the 11th & 12th March 2017.
Both should be very well known to the APAT community, having played in numerous events, showing some amazing support to APAT each season.
Linda is the highest ranked female player on the APAT All*Stars rankings with numerous cashes and final table appearances.
Brendan has a lot of team event experience, having represented Ireland on a number of occasions and being part of the victorious APAT team that won this event back in 2010.
Never an easy task to pick an APAT Team, so a huge thank you to both of them for taking up the challenge.
I"m sure Linda and Brendan will be on this thread at some point to share any info they have around team selection, in the meantime we wish them both good luck.

I am honoured to be asked to be one of the APAT team captains. A lot of hard work over the next few months. Once I have spoken to Brendan about team selection and we have sorted a strategy going forward I am sure we will be putting out a call for players.
