Thank you, Suzanne, that"s nice to read.
It was a great weekend with some fantastic people.
Roll on Manchester.

Wow what can I say, brilliant weekend!!! Big shout out to Tom Matt Leigh and Lucy.
Well done to Richard on winning,
And Terry for taking 3rd,
Massive thank u to every one who railed me big love x.
Very proud on Frome Poker group finishing 4th with 2 of us making the FT as well.
-
Thanks once again to Tom and the rest of the APAT team for putting on such a well organised event. Our team had a fantastic time, in fact one of them is still in the casino this morning :-)
2nd in the team comp, 1st in the individual comp and 3 finishers in the top 20 - not a bad effort. Congratulations to Hitsquad, it looked like we might just catch you at one point but it was not to be.
Sign us up for the next one, I promise to make it to the end of the first level this time....
Cheers,
Grant

Looked a great weekend as usual. Well done to all concerned with the hard work running the event and congratulations to the winners.
Being one of the teams that missed out this time I was looking forward to the updates especially the live stream. However I have to sat the stream was pretty unwatchable. Hazy picture, unable to make out chips or cards and hard to pick out faces. I know it"s a free service but please improve it for future events.
-
Great job Lucy - just read this thread start to finish..... great recap!!
-
Suppose I ought to post then!
Been trying to register but failing, then realised I was actually a member already ;D
Thank you so much to all the effort that went into making this such a fantastic weekend. The structure of the tournament was absolutely superb and well done to Hitsquad for winning what was at one point a very close race.
I don"t know all the names but thanks to the organisers, the mic bloke, the updates, well everything really.
The one thing about this event that I have to mention on top of the obvious though is the atmosphere created by the players. I have attended so many live events over the years and almost all the time it is taken so serious with little atmosphere and very little fun factor. Full of those players who wear the headsets, hoodies, dark glasses who think every hand is about them and delay the whole game pretending to have an agonising decision every single hand when you know they are folding. Such pains in the arse.
I don"t think I saw evidence of this type of player all weekend. In fact, I would say I have never played a tournament that is so relaxed and full of people that want to have fun and enjoy themselves as well as play some fun poker and then have a drink together at the bar afterwards. Not a Prima Donna in sight! It was an absolute pleasure to sit with you all and I hope and am sure our lot (krackedkings) have made many new friends. Hic!
I look forward to seeing you all in Vegas!!!
Thanks again to everyone involved.
