If you get through a day 1 but with a shortish stack, can you play another day 1 and take your biggest stack forward or not? Cheers.

I can't easily find an answer to this, so will put the question to my Grosvenor contacts to see what they say.

I have been reliably informed that you can stack surrender, with your larger stack obviously going through.

Thanks Leigh.

Is it correct that if you surrender your stack and your second attempt is a smaller stack than the first, then the smaller stack goes through ?

This is what I asked :-
If players qualify for Day 2, can they play another Day 1 to try and get a bigger stack ?
And this was the response I got :-
They can stack surrender yes
Only largest stack goes through to day 2 ofc
I read that as if Stack 1 is larger than Stack 2, then that's the one that goes through irrelevant of which you gained first.
Might be worth clarifying with one of the Floor Managers when in Coventry to be 100% certain.

I've just had an update on this :-
Stack surrender is allowed at the Goliath but should you surrender your stack the stack will be lost. You cannot qualify with a stack, then play another day to get a bigger stack.
