Amazing.
Great work Tom and Grosvenor.
Sidenote regarding CoChampions event.. mentioned in Dublin open to all Gold individual Gold medal winners and individual WCOAP side event winners is this confirmed or is it also open to online winners aswell?
Mind blowing!
It will take me a while to work out what I want to play each day but it's going to be epic.
Thanks APAT and BNR for this.

I assume it's not open to team event winners?

If it is open to team winners and on-line winners I think a bigger cap maybe required Dave, as there will be way more than 72 who want to play.
I know how hard it has been to put this schedule together. We only enjoy the actual playing and people do not realise how much work it takes to organise one event...let alone this lot!
FANTASTIC EFFORT!

Excellent effort and to echo the words so far well done to Tom , the team and G Casino BNR an absolute poker bonanza in just 125 days time !!
If i may ask one question... in the PLO comps what is the difference between the survivor shootout and the shootout please ?
Looks ok
Looks ok
Calm down now, it's just a poker festival.
Nine day, 33 event festivals including PLO, 7-Card Stud, NLHE, 8-Game, ROE, PLO8, Triple Stud, HORSE, OFC, Razz, Irish, Crazy Pineapple and Heads Up are somewhat a banality now!
Can't wait! ;D
Great stuff guys, really looking forward to be there again this year.
Are all events freezeout or are there re-entries as well?

All events are Freezeouts Danny... the only difference is that a player can play multiple days of the 'Cash Championship' to qualify for the Final Table...
Tom, just to help with my budgeting (aka asking the missus for funds!), when are the online tanks likely to open on Grosvenor please?
Could I ask if the events will also be available to reserve via Eventbrite like before as wel ?
If I register via Grosvenor casino what do I need to do on the day at the registration desk? Give them my APAT name from off here or my Grosvenor casino name?.
Thanks youIf I register via Grosvenor casino what do I need to do on the day at the registration desk? Give them my APAT name from off here or my Grosvenor casino name?.
Brian, I presume you mean via the Grosvenor Online Holding Tank? If so, then we will register you in advance and transfer your buyin to the venue in advance - therefore you do NOT need to turn up early to do either of these.
We do request that players be ready to take their seat 5 mins before the start of each event, however, for those who reg/buyin via the Grosvenor Online Holding Tanks, they do NOT need to turn up to reg/buyin at the venue... we will have sorted all that for you and you will automatically be included in the table/seat draw - so simply turn up and take your seat.
If you arrive AFTER the start of the event, your chips will automatically be put into play and be blinded off.
Planning on coming from Canada but want to be sure I'll be able to play.
Any way of sending buyins directly to Gosvenor Casino prior to leaving for the UK?
If not, can I register for the whole series at the casino prior to the 31st?

If not, must I register each day and hope the tournament isn't already sold out?

Hi Dave, we look forward to welcoming you to WCOAP mate...
I think your best options are:
'reserve' seats for every event via APAT Eventbrite (has a small additional charge which pays for the APAT updates/blog reports all week) and this guarantees you a seat in every event you reserve for up until 30 mins prior to event start time
'buy in' via Grosvenor Online Holding Tanks - But I presume you can't whilst in Canada, so if desired you could transfer your buyins direct to myself and I will include this with the Holding Tank registrations
Waiting until the day is possible as we will not sell all seats in advance, but the risk is that an event sells out before you register on the day

Thanks for the info. I can't find the WCOAP 2018 on Eventbrite but I guess it's too soon. I'll keep looking for it.
Tom , PLO double chance , could I please clarify ?
Is this half stack to begin with and then the second half is available at any time or when knocked out ... or in this instance does it mean one rebuy is available ? Sorry to ask but I think it could be any of these :-)
I've registered using Eventbrite. Couple of questions:
I've registered for "ROE (NLHE/PLO)". I assume this is a 5-game mix of R + O + E + NLHE + PLO?
I passed on "Mixed Game Max". What is this?
Do I need to bring my Eventbrite tickets or just show my ID when I arrive?
Thanks. Should be fun.

ROE means round of each - so one round nlh one round plo
Thanks TheHitDogAF. I guess the "Game" in "Mix Game Max" was just a typo. I'll check later to be sure.
Now I just have to book my flight and I'm all ready.
When / how can we pre-reg for Champion Of Champions?
With just 6 weeks to go isn't it about time we found out what the format/structure of some of these games are please? Specifically Mississippi Straddle, Tag Team, Survivor Shootouts, 15/15 & Headhunter.
Oh yea... better get on with it !

Hi Tom
Last years player briefing said
"Anyone who has pre-bought/registered into multiple overlapping events on the same day, and is still playing event 1 when event 2 starts and therefore cannot play event 2 (because they cannot as they are not allowed to multi table same '1 day' events) then they must inform MYSELF BEFORE event 2 starts to ensure a refund - and at this time their seat will be made available to others - they may of course, on departure from the first tournament, then ask to have their name added to the event reserve list."
Can I just check that the same will apply to WCOAP 2018

That is correct Paul
My train doesn't get in until 12pm on the Tuesday, will my chips just be in play for the CoC as I have pr-regged? If I change my train it's 50 quid different which is a tad excessive
Cheers

Hi - can I just check the situation with meals at breaks please? Do we need to rely on buying food from the casino or is there anything provided? Might need to go down Macca D's!! :)
