Bradley raises to 20,000

Vernon says "15,000 more" on the button, not realising it has been raised

goes as a re-raise of 20,000 by rule

Bradley re-raises all-in. As you would.

Vernon is a bit stuck here, as he has put half his stack in in error

thinks for ages

He only has 45,000 more and blinds go 5,000-10,000 in a minute

Big sigh. Re-checks his cards

calls

He has A9

Bradley has A7

9 on the turn

Vernon doubles through

this was an open tournament, not a restricted torunament like APAT Nationals. Players were quite able to deal if they so wished, understandable given the presence of professionals. Not allowed in the Amateurs only comps "played to win"

Congrats to Neil Blatchley though Good luck in the GUKPT.

In most APAT finals there is huge amounts of play after the first few exits. This time there was no exit for over a level, meaning by the time the blinds got bigger,  stacks were shorter than normal.

We then had a huge chip leader, so the other stacks remained small

Hopefully see you at the next one.

P.s. That set over top two was a pretty sick hand and could have been the end of me, you just seemed a little too confident when I went to put all my chips in ;)

APAT Masters Pro-Am Winner, Neil Blatchly.
congratulations to neil.was a good tournament and he deserved to win it .on the final he had more hands than id had all tournament.amazing how the game changes and he was all in with kj for more than 35k v aj with his kj ,but every good player is allowed some luck i guess.found him to be a friendly and witty player who would be a good opponent on any table.dylan

just wanted to reiterate what neil said.found the whole tournament to be superb.des , tikay and the team were excellent, the g casino was great.the players were all friendly nad there were some great characters there like scouse ,billy , neil, dean morris, briony and rudders.just wanted to thank the casino staff too who were very helpful, espeicially the dealer raj who gave me  encouragement when i kept getting deal 2x in my hand.was my first apat and was really happy to finish second.am already looking forward to the next one.cheers again and congrats to neil.dylan herbert.
