Top stuff from the guys though, it does make a difference in your game when someone you know is railing. It sort of gives you focus not to do anything stupid.

The "accident" happened (wife thinks i dropped the lappie as i play in the garage, as i don"t smoke in the house) when we were 4 handed in the $100 fo. guys shoves and i reshove with AK, he shows Q6 and binks a 6 on the river would have had CL and set for decent payout. At this point an involuntary "spasm" happened and i caught the lappie with a lovely right hook. Trouble was I could now only see about 1/4 of the screen and had to scrabble around with the mouse to get the table over to visible part of the screen. This left me unable to do much other than look at what i had and go all in or fold as i couldn"t see much else. ended up jamming QT into AK and couldn"t get there so probably cost me more than just the cost of a lappie... :D :D

Yesterday was a very strange day.
Jen had met up with friends to walk the dogs, so I sat down to play some qualifiers for the Sunday Warm-up, looking to avenge my bit of misfortune from the previous week.
I tend to play a number of qualifiers at the same time, but a knock on the door interrupted about four tournaments. Fifteen minutes later and I finally get back to my laptop to find me out of most and shortstacked in others. Mental note to self, be ruder to people at the door, even if they have been doing voluntary charity work on behalf of your girlfriend.
So, just over $50 down. Back to playing then, and during the next few, for whatever reason my internet connection decides to fail, manage to resurrect a connection on the old 3G dongle, but the damage had been done. Mental note to self, maybe these turbo tournaments aren"t the best.
So, it"s getting late in the afternoon and I decide to play a couple of the Shootout 36 max satellites, however, this time with the aim of winnning a seat, cashing in and calling it a day. I can then concentrate on the APAT league game in the evening.
I final table two of them and manage to win a seat in one. End the day with a little profit and a smile on my face.
Wander in to see Jen and explain all"s well that ends well, stick a DVD on and that"s that.
A few hours later and I go back to my laptop to see pokerstars tables open. Ahhhh, I"d forgotten I"d qualified for the EPT Monte Carlo freeroll. Bonus.
Hang on, there"s two tables open, what"s the scond one. It"s the Sunday Warm-up and it"s nearly an hour in. Feck My Life, I"d forgotten to unregister.
Lots of swearing and useful comments of "Can"t you get your money back", and I end up having to play it.
Double up within twenty minutes and then played tight all the way to the cash. Got clever, found a guy with aces, and was out, but I cashed !!!!!!!

Does it help if you move further away from the screen, so it"s harder for them to spot ?

perhaps, or you could use a wireless mouse, and place a piece of gauze between the mouse and the receiver to break the line of vision, then play loud music so the click can"t be heard so well.

If it were me, I"d choose #34 with Big Antes - I like to steal and with Antes it"s v worthwhile. It prob does make it a little more crapshooty for short stacks to call you with ATC and suckout - if you think you can handle the stress of suckouts in an "above-your-bankroll" game, that"s the one.
Rob"s are safe options, and there"s nothing wrong with that!
