Nottingham, the capital of Poker in England.

Enigmatic, charismatic, witty, charming, intelligent, humble and incredibly modest.
5 - WHAT IS YOUR POKER BACKGROUND?
At the tender age of 10 I played my first ever game of Poker, 5 card draw and I have dipped in and out of the game ever since, self taught in the early days then on to reading various books and learning from pro players.
6 - WHAT IS YOUR PLAYING STYLE?
Cliche, but it depends ! I will play in a style that fits the table and tournament I am in, it has been suggested I have a somewhat LAG style these days but that is totally untrue.
7 - WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE POKER PLAYER AND WHY?
Odd I know, but I do not have a favourite poker player, I just learn from everyone.
8 - WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ONLINE POKER SITE AND WHAT IS YOUR POKER ID THERE?
I have no particular site that is my favourite as although I do occasionally play online I much prefer live games.
9 - WHAT ARE YOUR POKER ACHIEVEMENTS?
Getting a scary reputation for reading people when playing at Nott"s University, winning my APAT Gold medal, successfully teaching people to play and watching them go on to make final tables.
10 - WHAT DO YOU DISLIKE ABOUT LIVE POKER CURRENTLY, THAT YOU WOULD CHANGE?
Nothing that is worth worrying about.
11 - HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT APAT?
Through friends.
12 -WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT APAT TOURNAMENTS, STANDARD OF PLAY AND STRUCTURE?
What is not to love ? Excellent structure, good value and a superbly friendly atmosphere. There are some damn decent players in the APAT events.
13 - HAVE YOU PLAYED AT AN APAT LIVE EVENT AND IF SO, WHAT WAS MOST MEMORABLE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE?
Played and enjoyed several live events and the fun, yet competitive aspect sticks in my mind.
14 - WHAT ARE YOUR MAIN INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF POKER?
Reading.
15 - WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK OR FILM?

Bainn Fact #1 -
Recently pointed out to me by Dr Holden at QMC in Nottingham is that at age 7 I was tested by an educational psychologist and found to be in the top 93 percentile according to the E.P.V.T test, meaning only 7% of the population is more intelligent than I.
However, I do not play well with others.

While working at "Bright Light" studios in Coventry, I got my head ripped off !!
Back in the heady days of FMV in computer games, I played an Undead Henchman in the game "Realms of the Haunting" and one of the actors playing the character "Hawk" had to wrestle my head off, a very funny scene to do.

No, that is cousin Barnabas, twice removed.
Taught him poker and last I heard was he had become a model of some sort, that"s him in the middle.
