Title: Matchday 6 - Sun 12th April 2009 - 8pm

The sixth league matchday is now live for registration on Blue Square.  To find it, click through to the Tournaments / Specials  / APAT tab.  All games will start at 8pm sharp.

The password is leaguepl

The password will remain the same for the whole of the season.

Feel free to forward the password, but remember players must be signed up to a club before they play.  Club registration remains open for the whole of the season.

IF A NEW PLAYER HAS NOT REGISTERED FOR A CLUB ON THE FORUM, BY 8PM ON A MATCH DAY, THEY WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO EARN POINTS FOR THEIR CLUB IN THAT WEEK. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

If you have any questions, please post within your club thread on the forum and either myself or your Club Captain will aim to help.

I was going to post a special mention thread to those of you that had made it 6 out of 6 so far this season, but then realised that there are 22 of you playing tonight that have played every league game so far.

Will hold off naming names for a few more games I think.

Just lost Southampton players in 41st, 40th, 39th, 38th

That leaves one of the orginal eight left, with 37 players still going.

Nothing from me tonight; I was a bit rash against the chip leader who beat me with two eights! Still I managed to take a couple of people out, one of whom was from Cardiff.

LOL, only a brag if I cash - which I haven"t.

Some numpty bets and calls a reraise on the flop, then hero check-calls half his stack turn and river with JT on a J62Q2 board. Then next hand gets 60BBs in by calling a 3bet shove on the  5s :2d: :2s: board with  8s 6s v  qs js only to hit a runner-runner straight.

Same guy then cold decks me by holding the sole hand that beats me.

Man, I hate poker!

The first to eggsit the final table real is 1cey, followed by BigParka

Both all-in against theredboy1

Bob"s AK and Lewis" sixes no match for redboy1"s Kings.


Lewis earns two points for a 9th place finish for Cardiff,

whilst Bob"s 8th place means another 3 points for Plymouth.

Just to clarify it, the 2 final table players from Cardiff and South London put them ahead of Swansea and the 4th place finish of a Cardiff player puts them agead of South London.


Very well played Chris for Swansea (One of two players tonight), really unfortunate not to get club points.

Just back from a weeks camping, and therefore been out of touch with the latest round.  Another excellent result for Team Plymouth - well played to all and esp Ian for the win and Glenn and Bob for getting some very useful points.  I always knew we had some handy players and it is now becoming evident to the rest of the Southern Division that Team Plymouth has real potential this season. 

Well played all and see you at the tables at the next round.

Remember, its quality not quantity that counts.
