The nineth league matchday is now live for registration on Blue Square. To find it, click through to the Tournaments / Specials / APAT tab. All games will start at 8pm sharp.
The password is leaguepl
The password will remain the same for the whole of the season.
Feel free to forward the password, but remember players must be signed up to a club before they play. Club registration remains open for the whole of the season.
IF A NEW PLAYER HAS NOT REGISTERED FOR A CLUB ON THE FORUM, BY 8PM ON A MATCH DAY, THEY WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO EARN POINTS FOR THEIR CLUB IN THAT WEEK. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
If you have any questions, please post within your club thread on the forum and either myself or your Club Captain will aim to help.

Turnout is getting worse each week Leigh?.... don"t understand why, people wanted the league at the beginning ?

To be fair, the numbers have been steady after the initial interest. We have been getting between 150-200 across the three divisions, which probably makes these one of the most popular tournaments on the Blue Square skin.
A combination of Bank Holiday and weather will have made a difference this week. More chance of points for those of you able to play. ;D

Out in 14th in Vincent Lee for Brighton. I haven"t been able to watch all of the hands, but I have seen him lose 4 or 5 hands tonight when he has been in ahead and dominating a hand. vul.

Finally out in 12th. Don"t know what"s up with my Blue Square. It allowed me to pay for the game and to see the tournament lobby but not to join my table. Still, I got my best result so far so I"m not complaining. Logged in near the end when I was 18th and nearly out. It was funny to see my chips increase on six occasions after that - I assume I must have kept winning on my big blind, though I couldn"t see the table. How frustrating is that for the other players? I picked up a few places and almost made FT for the first time. Don"t think I"ll bother getting B Sq to fix it.

Well played all tonight, especially the South London team on gaining two more valuable points. WP Bristol deserved win and at least they are a club that"s getting a good turn out each week. I"m going to PM my players over the next week or so and try to find out why some of them have stopped playing in the League, maybe all the captains could do the same. Gutted for Linda & Richard tonight, all that hard work to make the FT and then to lose their connection. As someone who has never had connection problems it seems strange that some players are having this issue, something really needs to be sorted by the tech. bods.

Thanks for all your condolences - yes the air was very blue in the Iwaniak household. Unfortunately we can"t blame Blue Square this time it appears BT had a problem in the South East Region with their servers... if they keep this up we will be changing service provider.... adding it up I have lost quite a lot of money with BT dropping our connections over the last month or so.
We have only just got back on to find the tournament finished - such a shame we were having a great time.
Hopefully more will play in the next game. See you all then BT allowing...!!!!!

Surely these disconnection problems have to be with bl square,,,i had the same problem last league game and got blinded out in 16th place,,,we are not all with the same broadband provider,,so it must be bl sq problem,,,maybe this is why the numbers are dropping,,i know that i for one, only now risk my money in apat events,,,i used to play bl sq everyday,but now play other sites where i have no problem wot so ever,,,well played all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
