Good Luck to Tony Trippier and Andy Duncan, the famous BCPC representatives. Both are more than capable of winning this. Lets have a 1-2 boys !!

Is Mr Trippier still leading ??.......and where is Andy Duncan ??
An outstanding effort by Daniel, cashing in the tournament that he won in 2006. He"s currently recounting the hand, comparing it with a similar hand he won against Mattie Milne in the 2006 Championship. Different outcome today...as the "what if" musings continue.
How"s the stack of the one armed bandit now? Or Kelvin Sole as he"s often known! ;D

Another top performance from the APAT legend.
We haven"t been able to load pictures unfortunately, due to the low bandwidth at the G, but had we, a pic of John Murray"s greying flowing locks and beard, tache combo would have been a must. He is sitting with three monumental towers of chips at the moment, looking almost untouchable. I had a chat with him a short while ago and said "John, you"re looking very Jesus like" and the other players seemed to almost bow reverentially in his presence. "Oh yeah" said John, "I must get a hair cut before Luton". Paradise lost...

Ian second in chips 160,000 behind Tony Trippier 200,000

Didn"t he only cash because there were 5 alternates? Getting your money back surely doesn"t count! Means I don"t have to come and rail the final now :-\

Thinks there"s a reference in there somewhere to Luton in Season 1 Mr Rejmak. Am I right?
I"m not a religious person, but for one time can Ian Burnet run like god and take this baby down.
Good point ;D
I"m not a religious person, but for one time can Ian Burnet run like god and take this baby down.
He doesn"t need to run like God, just needs to use his superior poker skills to outplay the rest of the field.

I don"t think you"re related to any of the remaining players Chris.
Leigh Efford is nursing a short stack and now, he proudly tells me, is up to ten uncalled shoves to stay in it

There was this guy at a bar, just looking at his drink. He stays like that for half of an hour.
Nice try Rich
There was this guy at a bar, just looking at his drink. He stays like that for half of an hour.
Then, this big trouble-making truck driver steps next to him, takes the drink from the guy, and just drinks it all down. The poor man starts crying. The truck driver says, "Come on man, I was just joking. Here, I"ll buy you another drink. I just can"t stand to see a man cry."
"No, it"s not that. This day is the worst of my life. First, I fall asleep, and I go late to my office. My boss, outrageous, fires me. When I leave the building, to my car, I found out it was stolen. The police said that they can do nothing. I get a cab to return home, and when I leave it, I remember I left my wallet and credit cards there. The cab driver just drives away."
"I go home, and when I get there, I find my wife in bed with the gardener. I leave home, and come to this bar. And just when I was thinking about putting an end to my life, you show up and drink my poison."
Please don"t start singing instead :D

Micky and Ailsa, giving up the x factor just to rail me, I had tears in my eyes
Great event BTW. This was my 1st ever APAT and BR permitting I"ll be playing a lot more in future. Already bought in for Luton so see you all there.
Poker played in a great spirit and very well organised in a excellent venue.
Having this bloke called Steve Redfern on my table didn"t help my cause. He was sat directly to my left all day, even at the Buffet table :D

Now that you"ve played your first APAT you can stop calling him Steve and start using his official monikers of "Luckbox Redfern" or "One Time Again Redfern" like the rest of us ;D
