Can someone confirm this is going ahead on 20th June ?
Thanks

Sunday 20th June will see the £250 APAT Professional League Series event, with a capacity of 50 runners.
That"s the plan....I haven"t heard anything different and I think we would have by now if it wasn"t.

Yep, it"s on Sunday 20th June and is going ahead. Can"t promise what the numbers will be, but the venue are pushing it out to a number of their regular players.

Thanks
Have emailed Des to ask if the event could ever be cancelled (ie only 4 or 5 people turn up)
Waiting on his answer before I book flights

We"re definitely running with it Paul, even if it"s a very small field.

I am sure that you might get some players who bust out of the Main Event early, registering for this to make the numbers more attractive.

Maybe we could even run a few live STT"s for it on the Saturday night.

Hmmm...I like the idea...even if I haven"t booked to a hotel for Sunday...yet!

This is a very good idea.

How many have registered for the £250 game as they seem to have been removed from the lobby?
Also how many have registered now for the ME on the Saturday and what is the likelihood of it finishing on the Saturday if the field is small?

Last I checked there were very few (if any) but it"s strongly suspected that the local contingent will provide some runners.

I"m expecting this to be full (100 runners) on the day so the usual finish will probably be the case.
I"m sure Leigh/Tighty can confirm.

The Amatuer will be a standard two day event. 90-120 runners depending on local take up
The £250 game is also dependent on local interest, maybe some stt sats etc. At the moment it itself is a SNG

I have spoken to John at the International and we"ll run STTs to the Pro League on the Saturday night for those interested (APATers visiting and locals) These will be dealer dealt
Also, they are prepared to put on a small NLHE Tournament on the Sunday afternoon for visiting players at a loose end who can"t stretch to the Pro League

Hmmmm, if I get low stacked on the Saturday I may have to consider one of these to try and havea game on the Sunday. Dilema, dilema....

Like that idea. However the Pros may not like it due the high standard we play at.
