Title: Save Manchester from relegation

Well, week 10 has crept up on us and whilst we have been pushing for (and failing at) the title, we have slipped into the relegation zone.

This would be a financial disaster for Team Manc - so I appeal to all members to flood the comp with Mancs on sunday.

So far we have...

1 manc(thats me) regged from 4 players

Lets go for a record - 20 players should be enough to guarantee victory and safety

I"m in.

Been away a lot recently so not been able to participate as much as i would"ve liked.  I"ll make up for it by winning tonight  ;)

Well I needed to win (or come second) to single handedly keep us up, so in true Goochie style, I finally played a captains innings and won the thing..

If we are keeping the cricket analogy, it was hardly a chanceless innings with lots of flukey edges over the slips and lots of dropped catches....

Q5 > AQ (sorry tony)
A7 > AK (sorry fecku)

but lets be honest, I was hardly going to win skillfully, so ugly it had to be

Thanks to all those that played tonight, see you all in division 1 next season...

grats to Suzy and her Bristol team for winning it (they certainly owe me a few drinks in a few weeks time)

commiserations to Sth London who are relegated (you played a great game Jel...vul)

thanks mal, but its about time you played a few more of these.

I dont want another season that requires a Red Adair effort at the end, but one that has us with our feet up watching the relegation battle and battle for second.

Lets have a real push for next season

Work makes it impossible at the moment. Will get back in to it soon as possible.
