Technically the player who wins this seat might be decided before the end so it might not be the final one decided, but I wanted a snappy thread title
Putting together old and new betfair names and peoples real names (plus spelling variations of them all) to combine the rankings was not a simple matter, so if there are any errors or omissions let me know - although I don"t think there will be anything to affect the final result.

Not sure I understand this table, but you"ve ranked it by descending points total rather than by most points finishes. If the bit you highlighted in bold is correct then the first column is irrelevant and you should rank by the second column descending?
Duncan Hodgkins is on the list twice.
-
thanks, I"ll combine the 2 DH"s
I am awaiting clarification as to the exact meaning of the phraseology - in the meantime I thought I"d put it up.
If it"s sorted the other way then I"ll just resort and repost.

So does Brian get 2 or 3 seats?

I"m not greedy I"ll just take the one ;)
-
So as im second ? is it points or number of scoring events that count. also if you have won a seat already would it go to second place eg if top 5 stayed as they are would i get seat as Brian has already got a seat . So in effect if it is second column thats count , only the preci0us one can score more than me ?
thanks

I"m just doing the administration, I sorted it in one order when I created it (because I thought it "should" be that way)
and in this order after I updated it with the last results (because I think that"s how it"s worded)
Conceptually it makes sense that if the winner of this already has a seat then the Champions Final gets one less runner
but it makes it more interesting if, in that circumstance, the seat would go down to the next person who hasn"t already got one.
i.e. it needs clarifying
-
Also, just in case, I would have thought there should be a tie breaker on the off chance both of those columns are even.
-
still confused but thanks for reply, any idea when it will be clarified as i might play Spain if i need to pick up more points , nb can you check my points tallys counts my 9th in last Omaha event
Ta

Yep, triple checked and confirmed
Leigh might be your best bet for clarification on the T&C"s for this one

I"ve got to go up the chain of command on this one. Right to the top in fact, mainly because Des wrote the added value deal, and I"m not sure about it myself. ;D

ok thanks ..... when was this added deal arranged? last night is the irst ive heard of it :o

It"s been there all season. It was in the original Season 4 announcement.

To confirm it"s to reward the most consistent points scorer in Championship events. Unfortunately the place would not go to the next best finisher should Brian take it, having already qualified for the Champions Final.

Jon, are you related to Paulie?

Shockingly only one person noticed my deliberate error, but I"ve fixed it now ::)
