What an awesome innings from O"Brien, and a fantastic performance by Ireland, incredible game!

At work so have not seen it but followed it on-line, so it's worth watching the highlights?

I wonder what the odds were at 111-5 chasing that kind of total ... outrageous/genius ...

Think Ireland should now start trying to pinch the best players of the England team to play for them...
Seriously though, what has happened to England? The batting still seems to be there, but the bowling and fielding is shocking. Different conditions on the sub-continent for bowling (Anderson looks awful here), but no excuses for appaling fielding performances.

400/1 ... genius ... obviously just about impossible to punt it at that price ... though worth a couple of quid ... (after the event)

Fantastic Ireland, and I"m English. Played a lot of league cricket in my time, with a professional who bowls, and the best bowlers will get slaughtered by good amateurs who have an eye for a ball. They will come off against a pro one time out of plenty and this is what happened tonight. Plus the English bowlers were ****e!

Just watched the highlights for a second time ... I love the fact O"Brien smashed Swann for a couple of sixes to get things motoring ...
Some of the bowling was hilarious, especially Yardy dragging them down the leg side for almost free hits ...
O"Brien - get him out to the IPL.

Looks like Swann is at least going to try to hit the ball ... what was Yardy doing with the bat?
2 runs from 13 ... heaps the pressure on Bopara ... and gone ...
If they can block out Swann with the ball ... game over ...

I thought what a load of ****e when I switched on at about 9 this morning. I was determined to watch it as I thought it is easy to switch the TV off because you think they are crap. Ha Ha, I watched it all until just before midday to see us win.. Then I went for a pint or two before going to watch Liverpool v Man Ure and carried on enjoying myself... :D
