Title: Liverpool 'Live'
Post by: duke3016 on March 13, 2011, 16:43:52 PM
It has been discussed about Team Liverpool meeting up once a month to play a bit of live poker. I can accommodate three tables in my house and therefore I am throwing this out for discussion.

Some points already muted.

Run it on a league basis over 6 or 7 months

Retain part of the buy in and use that to enter people into bigger buy in live tournies with, say, the winner retaining 60% of any winnings in said tournament and the next 4 people in the league sharing 10% each.

Depending on the level of retention we could possibly enter someone into a bigger tournament every couple of months

Whatever we decide it would be fun to put faces to names and have a taste of live local poker every month (alongside  APAT events of course). Please put your thinking caps on and lets get this going. I will collate all points of discussion and publish a summary.

So we don"t clutter up this forum, and to get an all in one place site for players, results, matchday reports (both live and on-line) etc I have set up a website for the Liverpool team. All detail will be posted here and duplicated  HERE (http://www.duke3016.com/index.html)

Possibly interested, what kind of buy-in where you thinking of?  Where abouts do you live also?

Buy in will be modest enough and open to discussion as well - say in the £30-£50 range. I live in Great Sutton near Ellesmere Port...
