Title: Season 5 Matchday 1 - April 3rd

Matchday 1 tournaments are now available in the 888poker lobby. Pick the right one because you will not score points if you enter the wrong tournament for us.

The tournament is on Sunday 3rd April 2011 @ 8pm.

Please make sure you have registered your details with Liverpool HERE (http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=8086.0)


If you have not posted your 888poker id by 8pm on Sunday, you will not score matchday points for us. (Once posted, you are registered for the season)  

Lets start as we mean to go on with a great turnout.................

Last year I personally had problems keeping up who was playing for who (Fair play to Leigh for his collation skills). So I am attempting to keep a spreadsheet up to date to help with this.

Our number is respectable but more players would be very welcome. Make a huge attempt to attend wvery match.

We have 12 in so far out of 72 (16.6%).

4 people at the bottom I can"t find which club although the bottom 3 were solent last year ???

I"ve signed up to the first game but unsure if I will be in at the start.... Mother"s Day and Be Nice to Wife Day, hopefully be able to join in at some point.

At present we have 14 people in out of 32. This represents 44% of our base, and 15% of the tournament. I would like this to rise. Hence the PM"s sent.

Didn"t get home until 10:30 and by time I had logged on I had come a creditable 77th without playing a hand. Some people might say that would have been better than if I was playing myself but the least said about that the better.
The main problem was is that when I had the lap-top at around 8pm was just about the same time that the Neil Diamond CD came on and my wife decided that all the girls should sing karaoke. I lost hands down without any argument.
Hopefully the next fixture doesn"t coincide with any birthdays, funerals, christenings or Royal Weddings and I should be fine to play... Earthquake or tsunami permitting..

At least my entry fee has gone towards the prize pot anyway.....
