Title: Suggestion for session 2

For the overall champion, How about getting the top 9 ranked players and having a live 1 table tournament, which may be televised. This would make the session more interesting for more people. Plus it would have a grand finally feel to the end of the session                                            

Alternatively, all the on-line & live champions have a live final, or a mixture of both?

Any thoughts?

Funnily enough, some of us were discussing exactly the same thing in Dublin.

Winners of the live events from S1, and the top however many points finishers come together for a STT that is televised, with cameras for the hole cards, the lot.  Obviously, Tikay would need to be the "expert pundit" alongside whoever is hosting the show.

It"d be great publicity for APAT and PokerStars, and I"m sure someone could have a word with Sky about getting this to happen.

It may be a good opener for S2

To have a one off game on sky to publicised the APAT

We were going to - but we waited at the bar for ages and no sign of him...;D

I"ve PMd him.  I think it would be a brilliant way of publicising APAT.  It would also be a fantastic additional prize for winners of events.  Also PokerStars would surely enjoy the publicity that goes with it, helping them to attract more and more new players.

We"ll have to see what the main man thinks.

My suggestion would be...

The APAT Tournament of Champions


- Winners of Live and Online Championships, plus the overall points winner (in the unlikely event that he/she did not win an event).

Yup.  There will be seven Champions and a player of the year!  I do not believe we need an overall champion. 

There is an idea on the schedule for season two that might benefit some of the more consistent players from season one.  More about that in the next few weeks.
