How many players have registered now? Even with 19 teams of 8 players that is 152 players, and last night there weren"t many over 80 regged?? (Sorry at work so don"t have access to 888.com to check position).

Reg was supposed to be complete by last night - only 80 from 160 are registered so far!
Guessing that if people don"t register, the event gets canned? that won"t give a great impression of value for our sponsors, and will leave a lot of people out of pocket where they"ve paid in advance for lodgings!

We will be at 20 teams of 8 at the moment.
92 of the 160 players are registered.
9 teams have completed registration
4 teams have a few players to chase up
4 teams have some extra time due to being on the reserve list and have now been invited
And as for these 3 teams, nothing from the captains as of yet.

If people do not buy in before the holding tank has to close, then some team members will have to pay on the day
We"d like to avoid that.
If a team has 5 bought in currently say, and 3 still to buy in...the holding tank then closes...and a team decides to withdraw...there will be no refunds
the event will be going ahead.

Whitby Sports & Social Club (aka the aquarium) are delighted to accept a reserve spot. Rallying the team now and will post very very soon (as in Friday at the latest).

Tighty and I can"t wait for a weekend in Blackpool at the end of June.
We do have potential space for one more team, so if anyone can get a team of 8 together in the next week, drop me a message for registration details.

I could possibly get a second team entered if that would help. I certainly look like I"ll have 4 or 5 people going down who are not in the side, all of whom play in the pub. Let me know if this would be allowable and if you want me to try and get a second team and I"ll see if I can get another 2 or 3 players.

It would be very much a last resort
The aim is to obviously get everyone bought in online, but if some teams don"t do that either through disrespect towards the organsiers depsite repeated requests, laziness or organisational difficulty then they have to pay in somehow...

There is a space at the moment. Get your heads together and come up with a pub and a few other players, and I"ll get you registered.

The holding tank will close on 11th June. Only 93 registered. Please ask players and teams to register before then to save us hassle and give the sponsors a nice warm ready brek feeling.
Entreaties to do this will grow more urgently daily til the 11th, so please crack on

Can anyone help me out?
Two guys have let me down and I will have to withdraw the team which would be a real shame for those that want to play. So basically I"m looking for two players to join the Edgworth Cricket Club team. Please pm me as soon as possible if you are interested.

Really looking forward to this weekend now.....lots of players who played at the BCPC team event are entered I see ....so it could be a good reunion.

Is there any other way to register? I am registered as part of a team but the event has been removed from the 888 schedule so I can"t pay the entry fee - have been trying for several days following problems with my account but Im now stuck. Is it worth me still turning up?
