PLEASE CAN YOU POST ON HERE IF YOU"D LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ONE OF THE 8 PLACES.
Within a short space of time I have had phone calls, texts and messages on several social networking sites that my wife thinks I"m up to something! ;D, so it is clear this will be popular!!
It has fallen to me to choose the team as Captain, which I"m happy to do, seeing it as my swan-song I guess! and for clarification, I will be taking up one of the spaces :)- hoping no-one will overly dis-agree with this selection!? :-\
The task will be impossible, but my 2 criterias are that the team selected will be from ones that promote APAT in playing Live events as often as they can, and that have represented and played online for Luton Poker Club since they joined the club.
I would like enteries to be in by the 23rd September, giving successful players a month to arrange travel, hotels, etc.
I can be contacted on 074 11427163 or via APAT or FB should you wish to contact me.
Carpe Diem

Firstly, glad you"ve decided to be a playing captain! Great decision IMO.
Secondly, I would love to be considered as one of your 7 as an online and (in the last year) live regular!
GL to all wishing to get a seat
Jo :)

Woop Woop
Great news and totally endorse your decision to be a playing Captain.
I would like to apply for a place on the team.
I have played numerous APAT Live events since 2009 and have been a Luton regular throughout this time... I even used to score points ;)
GL to the Team

i would like to be considered
thnx

I would like to be considered for the team please Waz
I have managed a couple of live events and virtually all the online league games since I joined the Club. Sadly my bankroll doesnt extend to multiple live and national online events.
This season I have been mostly rubbish, but I was good once!
Thanks
John

Hi
Please add my name to the list to be considered. I have played in all bar 2 online tournaments for Luton over the years and a few live events when the wife allows me ! (which she has given permission for this weekend in October).
Thanks
Stuart
-
Hi,
Could you please consider me for a place, as Luton is my local casino, I use to play a lot of apat, but work commitments in the last 2 years has restricted me a bit, but hopefully will be back now for a lot more,
Karen
-
Obv no brainer that you play Wazz.. Seeing your passion for the game at the live events we have played and being mr motivator for the team ;) I would like to be considered for team please as I hear Luton is one of the top 10 tourist spots in the UK! So I could treat Emma at the same time to the sights and sounds of Luton, hence balancing the karma of perhaps playing another poker tournament!
-
I"d like to stick my name in the hat please waz - haven"t been able to devote much time to apat lately due to family/other commitments but would love the opportunity to play this event at my second home and there"s no team i"d rather represent :)
-
Closing Date Approaching, 23rd September.
Over-subscribed we maybe, but more interest welcomed.
-
Hiya,
Love to give it a go.
Played a lot of the events.
Cashed last year at Luton.Twice this year at DTD and was Player of the Championship 2011.
Worth a shot?

Hi there, I"ve just been recommended to this by a friend of mine, and I"ve recently started playing more regularly at LutonG. My nickname is 4KSuited, and I"ve just set up an account on 888poker where I have the same nickname. I hope that I"ve got this right!
Cheers

Hi Phil,
This thread is to be part of the Team Event in October for APAT's UK Team Championship. APAT Luton Poker Club has been given one of these places. Of course you"re more than welcome to put you name down to be selected for one of the 8 places, and you name will be considered.
APAT also run a online league on 888, which is played 2 per month. We"d also like to invite you to join us there too.
Please follow the link, and join the club and be part of the team.

Evening All
I know a few of you have been enquiring re the shirts - I have been a bit busy but everything is in hand. Payment on the day is fine (I will also hand them out on Friday to those playing the "home" game). Final costs are TBC but they will be relatively low cost although not at the expense of quality of course ;)
Let me know if you have any questions either on here or PM
-
Player briefing- please note the strict dress code in place.
I"d say if in doubt call them direct or just play safe!

I"d like to say a big thank-you for all 7 that played over the weekend.
A big congrats to Mark Lassman (Jayteejack / squidgettpoo) who gained all 41 points us by finishing 10th overall.
Biggest achievement over the weekend I think is we had the best "losers area" in the whole casino....just filled up too quickly though... ::)
Mind you it would have been rude to win this AND the online league.. :P
-
A pleasure meeting you all again over the weekend and well done to Mark for his nice (but unfortunate) finish. Thanks also to Emma and Bridget for helping to entertain Annie Apple on her first APAT excursion.
