Does anyone else play cash PLO8 on 888, and if so, do you ever experience this problem where the client keeps locking up and closing down??
So annoying, and support said there is no issue. Others on my table say it"s a common problem that has always happened on 888.

Yeah usually everytime theres a big showdown it shuts down straight way

Also had three hands(not today) on other cash tables, where i shoved all in, got called and table froze. Close App and restart. Money gone and no history of said hands??
Today I was on the phone with Andrea(i was actually playing on the desktop pc) whilst this happened on the high-low table. Although I won the hand, it still froze the application at the end of the hand. Now wether the losing recipient on this occasion also got frozen out, i could not tell you.
Andrea suggested, a re-install and see if this helps.
Well it won"t because this also happens on my laptop, where i have re-installed numerous occasions.
It really does not give any confidence in playing on the site.
Tonight I will be in the APAT tourney, for which i have suffered the same symptoms as above in the previous three Apat tourneys.
I wonder if i would get a refund, should the same happen tonight?

P.S. I do not get any connection problems on any other poker sites, nor with any of my other internet dependant software.
Farely new P.C. approx 12 months old. All windows and drivers updated etc.

I"m sure their tech support will advise you to look at AntiVirus / Firewall softwares installed on PCs / laptops. I have not had such problems during APAT events which leads me to think it MAY be something local on your machines, albeit not something glaringly obvious. Please advise which AV and Firewall softwares you use and I can hopefully be of some help.
Steve, are you still using the F-Secure I supplied you with a while back?
I also have LogMeIn Rescue software that I can use to remote assist. It requires you to enter a 6 digit support code supplied by the engineer (that would be me!)

Yes Neil, I am using Kaspersky, which i think incorporates a firewall also. Possibly windows 7 firewall also running?

Almost every time a big hand goes to showdown, several players crash - me included. It"s not uncommon for me to return from such a crash and find half the table sat out while they are all logging back in after their own crash.
This only happens on PLO8 - the rest of the site works perfectly for me. Unfortunately, the game I prefer to play is PLO8.

BTW Just been on another site"s Hilo for three hours, not a single problem.

Last night on 888 playing only two cash tables. The client crashed 5 times before I gave up on it.

Thanks for raising this issue. We investigated today managed to replicate it. It happens in PLO8 when the save history option is checked. It will be fixed for the next version.
In the meantime, you can prevent it bu not saving history.

We expect the next update in 7 days (English version). So you only need to uncheck save history, until then.

While you are at it, please fix the annoying scrolling chat box problem. Chat keeps jumping back to the top once theres more than a few lines in it, impossible to have a conversation. I usually have it set to chat only.
Done it since ever i"ve been on 888, which is prob a year now.
