Podolski's Transfer to the "Gunners" London
« on: March 08, 2012, 00:11:08 AM »
Seems the deal is perfect and Lukas "Prince Poldi" Podolski will transfer to the "Gunners" London after this season. Hurts a lot, but it"s his chance for life. It is rumored that "Poldi" will earn expected 30 Mio for a 4 year contract.
So sad and there will be tough times for Cologne FC next months. :"(

Fc Cologne down to 2. Div, unbelievable. :( Poldi shows great emotions today, a lot of tears. Great to see him in a top club next years. Wish him a lot of success, he"s a glamor boy.

I like him as a player and think he will either be a good foil for VP or a good replacement!

That said the signing of Marko Marin by Chelsea has largely gone under the radar. I watched him live a few time for Werder and MG; found him an exciting player. They don"t need Modric now!! I think Marin will turn out to be one of the signings of the season - although possibly needs to gain a little strength on the ball for the Prem...

Agree, Marin is also a great football player but Im a bit doubtfult that his style of playing will not work out in Premier League. IMO Podolski is a more an all-round player like Marin. Hopefully both will make their clubs happy. ;)

What is it that makes u doubt Marins chances? He does look a little lightweight to me, perhaps easily knocked off the ball. Who do you support over there?

FC Cologne, but not really a supporter, feel a bit patriotism for my home club. Dislike the management and their strategy last 20 years and lost my enthusiasm like I had as a young boy when I"d rarely missed a home match. Good time over, imo to much foreign players and the feeling that most of the players are simply playing as a mercanary. Im hopefull that after the relegation the new management will change in a massiv style and find the right strategy.

About Marin it"s only my subjectice point of view, maybe right maybe wrong, hope the best for him.

Venlo/NL is the closest for you. We have restrictions in gambling and not the most opportunities to play live. Always to travel 150 to 200km, so not the most motivation to do that. Last 2 years I played  3-4 tournaments in Casino Dortmund.
